Iirc John Yems was part of the Exeter coaching staff a while ago, which might have swayed decisions.

Perhaps that leaves an opening for McCartan.

Most of us can breathe a sigh of relief then.

Not disappointed by this. Shay McCartan would be a better option.

Agree, would rather have McCartan if we can get it over the line.

Yes yes yes, we all know people's objections to the website. They arise every single time. No one is forcing you to read it and there are plenty of as blockers and as blocking browsers if you are that offended by them. They have to make money somehow!

Indeed, most people in Britain seem to think it is a disgrace to have to pay for journalism on the internet.

Until people realise you can’t have something for nothing and actually content producers for their content then said producers will have to use ever more adverts.

I personally would pay to subscribe to an advert free version and I would use it a lot more than I currently do, which is bare minimum.

That should have read Ad blockers. Darn autocorrect.

I'm surprised they haven't gone down the "alternative ad free subscription" route. A lot of apps seems to offer it so why not local papers? Surely it can't cost that much to set up?

I guess RCS can add a new category to his 'hounded out' list - players hounded out before they even signed on....?

I will put this one down to JP hearing that Nichols was linked to CTFC and getting the wrong the team.
