Thanks Si, looking forward to giving this a listen later today.

Just out of interest, is Owen coming back to the show?

He will be at some point.

He’s taken a step back due to work I believe, he simply can’t commit the time that he was before.

Excellent Pod. One of the best. Some really interesting points about the sale that I hadn't considered.

I was hoping, Si, you were going to mention the worst recent example of awful comms - the Wall of Fame. it took an interjection by the FED to drag a response out of the club "Oh, yeah, we're moving it from the back of the CF down into the concourse". There's a lot of emotion tied-up in these things. It's hard to argue against the fact that the club either don't understand about fan concerns or just don't care.

I've just listened to your podcast, I don't usually listen in but it was a good listen. I agree with most points made but it's worth mentioning, maybe it got missed that the decision to seek new investment seemingly started a few months back, it will surely take time but hopefully it's a bit quicker than the person who suggested two years. All being well something is concluded by next summer then we can begin building forward as a club.

I'll have a charity bet with you now that nothing significant will have happened by the summer.

This suggests it takes on average 3-9 months to happen, which would be next summer.

Another good listen if slightly depressing!! Really does highlight that we have to get a grip as a club both on and off the field and soon if we are not to spiral out of control and end up like a Kidderminster or Torquay.

On the most important issue raised on the pod, of course I mean the question of why we changed the away kit shorts to mint! I assume it is because we now have black home shorts and it would be a bit daft to have the same colour away shorts as home?

Which brings me onto another point which also covers the off field short comings in that those new away shorts don't actually seem available to buy. Now I haven't been into the club shop for a number of weeks but they certainly still aren't available on line anyway. Also, I don't think it has been mentioned anywhere else yet but the takeover of the club shop by Terrace has been something of a disappointment to me anyway. I thought that we would be getting a much expanded offering aside from the Errea stuff but four designs of adult t shirt and two sweatshirts seem to be underwhelming to say the least.

I wonder if the club were expecting more or if they are happy with that as I don't think that can be helping out income?

May I propose that you look favourably on any applications from women or supporters from minority groups to provide a diverse perspective on things?

Can I second that regarding the elections to the Robins Trust Board - we really want to give a voice on our board to fans from as diverse a range of backgrounds as possible. Please ask any females fans, or supporters from minority groups, that might not be RNF dwellers to consider putting themselves forward for either the Robins Trust board or the Robins Report.

Trust Board election nominations are currently open: https://www.robinstrust.org/agm-electio ... d-election

Those who have been members of the Trust for over a year are also eligible to stand for the post of Trust Appointed Director (formerly FED) on the Club Board: https://www.robinstrust.org/agm-elections/tad-election

Just out of curiosity, why? Are you saying that our gender or cultural background gives is a different view of how ctfc is run or how the team is playing?
I sit beside folk who dir in to both your asks, and find it makes no difference to their views on ctfc.
I can see if you are Brazillian you may think we are playing REALLY 5hit football.
I could see your argument if it was electing on the the board of the trust, but to just give views on football being played. Personally can't see it

Firstly, no slight at all intended to the current presenters. The pod is excellent, high quality and I am an avid listener.

I just think that diversity in general is a healthy thing and should be encouraged and nurtured. No more, no less than that.

When you say certain groups should be looked at favourably, when they can add no different dimension, is not really no more no less. It could be argued

It's your opinion that they add no different dimension. How do you know? The pod doesn't just cover matters on the pitch. It discusses fan experience, the clubs place in the community and other wide-ranging matters. I'm a white, middle-aged bloke. I am very much in the majority at Whaddon Road. I don't know what it's like to be a woman watching Cheltenham Town or an ethnic minority. If they are as erudite, thoughtful and interesting as Si, Mark, Owen and the others, then I think it'd be worth getting their views as they may offer different perspectives.

This does all come down to who applies to come on.

We have accepted one person - as per the socials - but I'm not sure of the diversity of the other applicants (it sounds so professional doesn't it )

I've made a point of suggesting we get people with different viewpoints - we don't want it to sound like we're all on one side of things - but by the same token, I don't want someone who's just going to come on and start shouting that "Johnson should be sacked" every 5 mins. Criticism of the club should be constructive, or the bigger picture needs to be looked at.

Last week we discussed Michael Flynn's start to his time at the club and we were all in agreement that it was a poor start, but we looked at why it was rather than just saying that he's inept and it's all his fault, etc...

Interesting podcast and thanks to our boys for asking some interesting and well thought out questions.
Probably most of what was said we already knew, but Bloxham sounded pretty upbeat, he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he does put an awful lot of work into running our club.

Not a Podcast person, but am presuming Cakebridge and fan zone came up (?). I have always ( well not ALWAYS), wondered. Is there an appetite for a fan zone? Have no idea how many congregate around the club and bars before a match. But do those who know better, think there is a demand for one on a normal match day?
