Hereford under transfer embargo

Talk about other football teams at all levels. AND ANY Glos City related threads, even if talking about the groundsharing.

Drove past their crumbling wreck of a ground not 3 hours after our magnificent return to the top of League 2 on Saturday. If I'd have been with anyone but the Mrs I'd have pulled the car over for a quick snap outside with my CTFC hoody on. And had a p!$s, obviously.

"The chairman of Hereford United has said he will not resign despite the city's MP questioning his position."

I didn't realise they had no shirt sponsors. Looks like they popped into Sports Direct for a bulk buy on the way to the game!

Yet another winding-up appearance, tomorrow. Tommy has apparently said that there's a £500k investment ready to go. We'll see...

Lonsdale is a slimy crook as well. I love his greasy BS at the end of that BBC article:

[The MP] said: "Despite a criminal conviction in 2008, despite being disqualified at Companies House from 2006 to 2012, raises, in the starkest terms possible for me, the question how on earth have the football authorities allowed such a person to be club chairman?"

Mr Lonsdale said: "People are dwelling on my past history but the issue with Companies House is now irrelevant. I am currently a director of three companies that I run myself and I have completed the fit and proper person's test, of which I am awaiting the outcome."

Absolute joke he is allowed anywhere near a board room.

Gut instinct says they won't. I've a feeling the major creditors against the CVA (HMRC and Foyle) will be paid off leaving the owners of the manufactured debt free to do what they like - Hereford United 1936 will continue, but in a forever non-league setting away from Edgar Street.

I wonder if they will consider applying to join the Welsh league - a bit like Berwick playing in Scotland.

TV games, a chance of European Football - makes sense.

Confirmed: settlement reached with one of the main creditors (suspected to be ex-manager Foyle) so now adjurned for a further 6 weeks.

It gets worse... Looks like they're now training at Bedfont & Feltham FC! 130 miles from Hereford!

And rumours circulating that they've asked the Southern League if they can ground-share for a while at Harlow.

Harlow....Why would they need to ground-share.

I suspect just made up fan nonsense. Sheds owner is from Essex so Harlow an unimaginative rumour to to make up to turn more fans against the owner

Seems the 'training at Bedfont' one has been confirmed by one of the players on Twitter. Nothing ever comes out of official sources of the club, so it's all we have to go on right now.

Oh my God, it's inhumane. A dog would have had its misery ended a long, long time ago.
