Whatever we do in the world seems to be wrong, we’ve fought wars for them and now we seem to put more money into the pot than we take out no matter what it’s for, but we are always perceived to be the villain, it’s difficult not to adopted the attitude no one loves us we don’t care.
So Fifa now start a smear campaign against us which is obviously retaliation for doubting their integrity, while Blatter footballs Al Capone is around we are the enemy, I believe like a certain Mr Savile the truth will come out after Blatters death.

The FA's only mistake? Not paying enough money. And not to the right people.
What a sorry state for football to be in. But, football is an exaggerated parody of Western society at large so we shouldn't be surprised. Exchange rate fixing or world cup bribes - all everyday things for the big money players.

I'd like to see the FA boycott the next 2 world cups and ask that our media partners and broadcasters do to. As much as we complain and try to do things the right way FIFA will always fight back and have the last word. Nothing will ever change, in fact I think that the relationship between FIFA and the FA is beyond repair now.
Let's be honest we're not going to win the World Cup anyway but let's hit FIFA where it truly hurts, who knows, it might encourage some other Associations to follow suit.

There are few better bloggers on the happenings at FIFA headquarters that Bigsoccer's Bill Archer
His report today contains the fantastic line
"to put it a bit more bluntly, they ignored the stuff he uncovered, made up some lies that suited them, took a swipe at England (which is, I believe, required by FIFA statute) and then called it a day"

With the comments by Garcia about the FIFA conclusions, I cannot see anyway for FIFA to clear the air, short of publishing the report in full

Why does Garia not release his findings or did he rent a computer and send it back as well?

Probably financial/contractual reasons.
I could never understand how a nation followed a leader like Adolf Hitler it seems unthinkable, and I apologise for mentioning the scum bags name again but after the Jimmy Savile scandal I think I’m beginning to understand how these manipulative people in history get away with it, what they say doesn’t necessarily need to be the truth but if they can say it in a way that makes it look like they believe it’s the truth then they are half way there to pulling it off, so if they can get enough people to buy into it then it becomes difficult for those that don’t trust them to fight against it because they are usually shouted down, someone once said you "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time" it seems to me if you can fool enough people it doesn’t really matter about the rest.

Hollow threats, I feel. Boycotting the World Cup, quitting FIFA...can anyone actually see that happening? I can't. It doesn't help that, outside of Europe, I gather Blatter is actually quite a popular guy who the rest of the federation think is doing a mighty fine job.
I think it’s inevitable that the truth will come out in the end, another whistleblower.

Perhaps lobbying football sponsors and try to get them to actively put pressure on FIFA to clean up their act would work, because it’s going to hit the fan one day and a lot of people will get covered in it.
