I can't see the problem. I am puzzled how much airtime and print is being wasted on this story.

I had BBC News 24 on in my study while working yesterday. It was the lead story in the MAIN news bulletins - not just the sports bulletins.
They did also show an amazing documentary about a 75 year old who was competing in a round-the-World single-handed yacht race 40 years after becoming the first person to do it. Amazingly, he finished third overall with only two boats in a faster class ahead of him. Worth digging out on iPlayer.
