Anybody any idea what happened when he was at the club? It gets referred to in the interview but it then gets glossed over.

the 2 subs Josh Thomas and Joe Hance were the youngest last night
Josh Thomas being the youngest at 16 years 9 months 9 days (17/4/99)
Joe Hance 16 years 11 months 4 days (22/2/99)

Would be interesting to get a top 10 list of the youngest and oldest to ever play for the club

Wasnt Derek Bragg the oldest player must have been 45ish when he had that sub appearance against Farnborough I think certainly think he was older than Clive Walker. Remember Bragg playing in goal at Bishops Cleeve in the early 90s I think too.

Josh Thomas must now be running Simon Goodwin close for youngest player have to be honest dont remember Goodwin apart from hearing gossip of why he left (would love to know) so must have been the briefest of careers at the club and I went to most games around 95-97.

But I agree Jon you should give us a full top 10 youngest and oldest all time list for Cheltenham

Derek Bragg certainly was the oldest player I make him 42 years 2 months and 23 days old when he came off the bench vs Farnborough Clive Walker was 41 years 11 months 8 days when he played his last game vs Gloucester City though he is the oldest ever scorer for the club.

Without knowing Goodwin's date of birth I couldnt tell you how close Josh Thomas was to breaking the record but he certainly beat Luke Thomas by a few days and I understand Luke was second on the list at the time.
