£astleigh are apparently looking at a new ground now so their backer - Mr Bridle Insurance, isn't looking to up sticks just yet.

Interesting that there are 6 other clubs with higher budgets than ourselves. Ecotricity, £astleigh, Tranmere, Grimsby and Wrexham probably not surprising given their owners or fan base, as for the other, maybe Barrow or Lincoln?

There were rumours that Barrow had money at the start of the season. I find it hard to think it might be Lincoln as I thought they were in dire straits and all sorts being threatened a few months ago.

Yes it seems odd that Barrow/Gateshead have a higher budget when you look at their squads it's very mediocre.
