I have had in my head 75 points for play offs, 85 for top three and 95 for the title. I think we will probably win it but first I want to secure enough for the play offs!

From the remaining fixtures I predicted we will end up with 96 points, hopefully it won't come down to the final day. Could be decided at the glamorous venue of guiseley!

Hope so, as I'll be there!

Wasn't mid-season about 8 games ago?

Well at the moment, the maximum amount of points FGR can get is 110 (14 games left, currently on 68 points) Grimsby's max is 106 (17 games left, currently on 55).

So currently our target is 111 points, and the more points FGR and Grimsby drop, the lower that points total will go.

Ten wins needed.

Be great to win it at Guiseley. Take hundreds up there and make it a celebratory away day.

Is Macclesfield not our final away game? Would think we would take 1500+ up the M6 if we can clinch the title but we are getting ahead of ourselves we have not made the play offs yet.

I have no idea which is our final away game. Just thought that it would be nice to win at Guiseley, a nice little ground where we could outnumber the home fans if it is a game where we could clinch it.

Any advance on that?? Maybe a mid-season prediction competition?

I wouldn't accept 94 points. That for me is a runner up place

The Grimsby Fishy Forum has a link to a prediction site which is quite neat. Sadly my first forecast placed us in third with 93 points! I ran it again with a tad more optimism and we won it with 99, but only just!

My efforts had three defeats, four draws and eight wins, giving us 97 points and the title by six points.

I had a dream last night that 2 injury time, counter attack goals in September caused our only defeats of the season.
