Quote from Pennock in todays Non League Paper, " We're that little village team on top of the hill, and to get a point at a club like Tranmere with all their history... it's fantastic."

This 'Little club at the top of the hill' story might fool the BBC but no one else is falling for it.
The FGR accounts show a loss of 5.4 million pounds over the last two years

What has it all been spent on - Lentil Soup?
This level of spending is in the Rushden and Diamonds league and the real story is why they
haven't won the title already.
This is of course due to 'the little club by Pittville Park' who play at the shed of hope which is Whaddon Road

He also said something about a small acorn growing into a massive forest, that we have 6 games remaining and that we might appeal Carter's sending off which was for 2 bookable offences.

Think he'd been on the bottle. Either that or he's been taking notes from Hockaday.

Yes I heard him say FGR may appeal Carthorses sending off and I wondered was that even possible.

Unless the rules have changed - or are different in the Conference - you can't appeal a sending off for two yellows.
