Has captained England U17 and U18's. Good pedigree!

Interestingly, AVFC site says a CB who can play LB or CM and our website says a CB who can play RB!

Youngser, looks really promising. I wonder if this will be the only defender we sign this month?

I hope he's better than the last Villa youngster who arrived on loan...

Reading some stuff about him, he seems extremely promising. Apparently Bayern were looking at him when he signed for Villa.

Lol. I can already hear the "Ea-sy, ea-sy, ea-sy" chant being modified to "Easah, Easah, Easah".

Maybe it's just me, but I'd say panic signing would have been if he'd signed someone 2h after Reading first said maybe we'll wait before completing the load deal.

Can't get much more calm and chill than completing the squad 2 days before kick-off.

Wasn't Dickie an England youth international when we signed him? This lad has captained England at youth level so he can't be too bad. Involved with the villa first team squad as well, so he certainly has something about him.

To be honest, in that first half against Barrow at home I thought Dickie looked a little shaky at times, didn't turn out too badly in the end though

As long as we're not comparing him to Dickie after the first couple of games and give him some time to settle into the team. Unless he's been better, of course!

I think this song/chant will be more appropriate:

"His friends call him Easah, coz he's the main geezer"

Taken from 'Ebeneezer Goode' by The Shamen

"Easah Goode, Easah Goode, he's Ebeneezer Goode"

Ah, but then surely it would be "He's so good, he's so good - he's so good, Easah Suliman"?
