The centre back, no.16, won everything in the air. The only player of theirs I'd have in our squad, but he wouldn't get in the team at the moment. Back to back clean sheets for us, don't ya know.

I dont know who you were watching the 16 should have been off the park
All he did was foul and obstruct
If you mean he was a fighter I will give you that

All they had to do was play round him
He would not make it on to the bench

Why is he being mentioned here hes not one of our former players

No.16 is Aaron Pierre, he's played against us on a number of occasions over the years, he is at Shrewsbury on a short term deal until January.
Other centre back Chey Dunkley was another one who has played against in the past and was a one time target of ours, as is/was Ryan Bowman.

Bowman, the Hereford Camel, did not look very good on Boxing Day. Since the Hereford cup games he will always be an enemy of CTFC in my eyes.

Awful is a bit strong isn't it? He was part of a Championship winning team and rarely looked out of place. The only real question was his fitness, he never seemed to last 90 mins.

Agree azaz showed decent promise here,a few games stick to Mind, walsall away and even vs man city played some lovely through balls.
Probably a season to early for us to have him to see his best as the season after he got league 2 young player of the year with Newport.

Taylor Perry misses two glorious injury time chances for Shrewsbury as they go down 1-0 to Wrexham.

He looked more useful than NBO, seemed to be frozen out very quickly under Clarke for one reason or another.

He was the only forward who looked like scoring before Clarke came in. Missed a couple of really good chances.

Russ Penn given the bullet from Kiddie with them bottom of the National League after having eventually got them promoted.

Wonder if he'll send DC his CV. 😉

Speaking of Wrexham, BBC Sport says that they've loaned Billy Waters (yes, that one) out to Grant McCann's Donny Rovers.

Wow. So I guess the loan with us was a "show us something or it's time to move on" kinda deal then.

Well he's not quite a former player as he changed his mind over lunch, but the much travelled JJ Hooper is playing for Blyth Spartans at New Meadow Park today.

Let me guess. A lunge after being done for pace or after giving it away.

Amari Morgan-Smith scores to help Kiddie come from 0-2 down against promotion chasing Aldershot to win 4-2 to start Phil Brown's first match in charge with a fantastic result in front of 3000 fans at Aggborough.

What price he and Darrell to both produce miracles and save both clubs from the drop?

Charlie Brown struck the winner in the second minute of stoppage time against his old club as Morecambe came from behind to snatch victory at MK Dons.

Correct. A mis-control followed by a lunge. Actually looks like he was unlucky. He won the ball cleanly and caught the shin on the follow-through.
