Apologies if this has been done b4 .
Some of my memories of watching ctfc over the years .
Years ago midweek games always finished at 9.10
Bovril from the shop
Me and some mates went on the players coach to Bedworth - stopped at the chippie on the way back. Ken Skeen era?
Going over to Glos - Horton road by train to watch the game . Dog track around the pitch.
My dad got coal thrown at him at Merthyr Tydfil
Oxford city away in the trophy managed by Bobby Moore
There must be loads of stories to recall
Happy days .
Nostalgia

Might of Been Ian Brookes youre thinking of sold them in the wooden shed next to the old canteen, with alan brown, and john pickup. Alas I think Ian passed away at an early ageRound Robin wrote: ↑07 Jul 2022, 10:01 Ps who was the very tall guy who used to sell the match programmes in the early 70’s

certainly remember that; must have been all of pre-double digit years. As for B Moore esq., he was delight to watch at Upton Park. Peters though was the player; so far ahead of his time. Hurst ok'ish!

Wasn't Harry Redknapp assistant at Oxford City when we played them?
Nearly. It was actually 1994/95.
Martin Thomas was our main keeper back then. Neil Cutler is now goalkeeping coach at Aston Villa.
