Interesting no defenders on the bench. Up to Broomy now to prove midfield his best position.

Yes very interesting. I assume if a CB is injured then Jackson moves inside and Broom to RWB.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 14:07 Interesting no defenders on the bench. Up to Broomy now to prove midfield his best position.

When Williams, Freestone and Goodwin return competition for a seat on the bench will be fierce, let alone the starting eleven!
This is a top half squad when everyone is fit.
Taken from JP on Twitter:
Starting: Southwood; Long (c), Taylor, Raglan; Jackson, Bonds, Broom, Perry, Ferry; Keena, May
Subs: MacDonald, Sercombe, Brown, Norton, Barkers, Olayinka, Rea

Might just be a fitness/recovery thing after Sercombe’s gut busting midweek. No excuse today for Broom or Perry to have any energy left after an hour, as they have replacements ready to come on. Our midfielders need to be worked and flogged incredibly hard from now on and run the team to safety.
Surely there was Portsmouth player standing offside in Southwood’s line of sight when the ball was struck as well as the ref screwing up the free kick in the first place!
Can’t understand why Olayinka isn’t playing.
This is just a bloody shambles. Elliott’s team selection is hopeless.

Sounds awful. Glad I have spent no time or money on it.
Currently other results going our way.

That's the only silver lining, we're going to have to hope they continue to go our way because this is worse than Barnsley and that's saying somethingRegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:26 Sounds awful. Glad I have spent no time or money on it.

Raglan is all over the place.Shocking.Perry? As poor a performance as your likely to ever witness.
Have had enough of this "C'mon lads, we go again next week" sh!t3.Next weeks are running out and League Two is flying towards us.Sort out that midfield for a start.

Halliwell: "you can't just change formation and match them up because they haven't played that formation and done any work on it"
How could it be any bloody worse?! It doesn't look like they have done any work in THIS formation and they've been playing it for years.

Raises the question if we are this bad do we really want (or deserve) to stay up?!?!CTFCfan99 wrote:That's the only silver lining, we're going to have to hope they continue to go our way because this is worse than Barnsley and that's saying somethingRegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:26 Sounds awful. Luckily, next weeks are running out for the teams below as well!BerkeleyRobin wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:31 Raglan is all over the place.Shocking.Perry? As poor a performance as your likely to ever witness.

I'm not even sure we'd be any good in League 2 honestly. I try to like Wade but the fact that I'm starting to care less and less about the outcome of this season is worrying.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:37Raises the question if we are this bad do we really want (or deserve) to stay up?!?!CTFCfan99 wrote:That's the only silver lining, we're going to have to hope they continue to go our way because this is worse than Barnsley and that's saying somethingRegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:26 Sounds awful. Let's remember this is a bang average, mid-table Portsmouth side. They started today only 9 points ahead of us and we've made them look like 2010 Barcelona. Christ knows what's gonna happen on Tuesday

If we finish above four teams, then yes it’s deserved as we would have won more points than the four teams below.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:37Raises the question if we are this bad do we really want (or deserve) to stay up?!?!CTFCfan99 wrote:That's the only silver lining, we're going to have to hope they continue to go our way because this is worse than Barnsley and that's saying somethingRegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 15:26 Sounds awful.
