Apart from the absurdity of the National League South and North playoffs being played 20 miles apart in Oxford and Brackley, there was plenty of local interest today.

Kiddy continue their revival under Russ Penn, who surely will be high up the shopping list of EFL clubs next season.

And Oxford City up to the National League for the first time ever. If Oxford United hadn’t had a flip-flop wearing Cheltenham Town turn up at the Kassam their season might have ended differently with them a single division away from an incredible Oxford derby.
