I'm sure it'll be riveting viewing for some, but how are C4 going to fill an hour long programme on all I don't want to know about air-fryers?

It's a bizarre thing... I have a few friends who swear by them - uncoincidentally, they all live alone and generally cook for one. They're not friers in any way, shape or form - they're just really small (and very efficient) fan ovens.

I am of a similar mindset. Am strongly in the opinion they must be too good to be true. However, as time goes on I find myself tempted. It is one of those things that you end up doing just to prove yourself right (or wrong)

Very handy to chuck some chicken nuggets/sausages/chips in for the kids when in a rush. Haven’t experimented too much yet
