A Player with the genuine battling qualities needed for the remainder of the season - and my goodness, did he deliver v Wigan. Great interview.

Must be something about combative midfielders who don’t actually like football. David Batty was another.

Know Nottingham well and can confirm St Anns isn't somewhere I'd want to grow up! Fair play to him making something out of himself in bad circumstances. Always enjoy these more in-depth, personal interviews that JP does.
It's nice to get to know who we are supporting!CTFC.Harry wrote: ↑21 Nov 2023, 15:06 Know Nottingham well and can confirm St Anns isn't somewhere I'd want to grow up! I guess it's a good way of kicking people about a bit without getting into (much) trouble! Better than having 10 pints on a Saturday and having a fight, or being part of a firm. Probably plenty of Sunday League players who don't actually like the game but have no natural talent and just go to run around and clobber a few, but a few do actually have some talent to go along with it and find they can actually make a decent career of it.Jerry St Clair wrote: ↑21 Nov 2023, 07:02 Must be something about combative midfielders who don’t actually like football.
