Another fairly useless set of officials. Some of the decisions, mainly consistency, is just absolutely appalling.

Over the moon for Lloydy. 2 assists and now a goal in his last 3 games. Bloody glad we didn't get rid of him.

As it stands, we would be going up to 21st.

Not a classic but a lovely Lloyd finish

Ref letting way too much go on street and Lloyd. Arguably Street should have had a penalty

Remarkable really. Not scoring for 11 and then scoring 11 in a row

Just win. We've played better than this and lost, so hopefully we can even it up and win one where we're not at our best.

If it stays as is below us and Exeter lose we’re out of the relegation places tonight!

Have to make this pressure count...all their back three/keeper on yellows ;)

Btw did Lloydy play under DC when he was at Port Vale? Might explain why he trusts him over Keena - who still has to prove himself?

We should be at least 2 ahead. Hope that doesn't come back to bite us

Ref might be a clown, but it won't matter if the players keep calm about it...

Would love Keena to poke one in off his shin as he could do with the confidence...

First 11 games: 0 goals, 1 point

Last 11 games: 15 goals, 18 points

Remarkable.

What a difference thanks to the new Management. The fitness levels are far better than they were under the previous regime and it’s paying dividends. The players are far more confident and far more aggressive. We’re taking on the opposition now and giving them something to think about rather than twatting about, tip tapping the ball around at the back. Great stuff. Well done everyone!

We were poor first half, lots of long balls going nowhere but I guess you have to give Shrewsbury credit for imposing themselves on the game. Much better from us after the break, definitely the better team and inches away from another a couple of goals.

Officials genuinely poor. And you can‘t shield a ball out of play when it‘s 4 or 5 yards away and not within playing distance; that’s obstruction, so blatant as well.

Great to see Lloyd score - genuinely pleased that both him & the club have stuck with it when it would have been so easy to part ways.

Big shout also to Bradbury for, yet again, not letting us down when called upon. And good to see Ben Williams respond in a positive manner.

Shrewsbury awful
Referee awful

Result wonderful and I’m starting to believe we might just escape. A LONG way to go but we’re just grinding results out.

The four player block/tackle on the edge of our box, followed by Williams geeing up the Wyman’s….thats turning-point stuff. We need fear no team in this league

Thought we were losing the midfield a bit by half time and needed Pett. Hope it was tactical rather than an injury to Sercs?

I wondered if it was preplanned with Reading 3 days away along with Williams for Ferry

I’d guess ‘semi planned’. Sercs didn’t have his best half of football ever and also we need to preserve the legs of a few.

Sadly missed the game but a great result and confidence should be growing amongst the lads. Darrell has had a great impact

Cheers for the three points Mickey

We were pretty awful in the first half, I thought, with some particularly aimless balls flying around. Lloyd was MotM by a country mile based on his work-rate - regardless of two goals. Was his first as brave as it looked from where I was? Looked like he put his head down right in the danger area.

Shrewsbury grappled, grabbed and climbed all over our players, all match - I don't think I've ever seen a team constantly bear-hugging the opposition like they did, today.

Perfect summary. I thought Shrews imposed themselves physically and we locked the guile to unlock them first half however after the goal and in the second half we dominated and should have scored a few more by end of the game. Darrell Clarke has me starting to believe we can do this.

Lloydy deserves his goals. Apparently he has scored 11 for us now. I can only remember one, away at Stevenage the season we won League Two, that hasn't been with his head.

Lloyd and DC booked for Lloyd being dragged halfway across the pitch. Murray as well not long before that. Shows just how c!#p the ref was.

Williams deliveries were great today. Bonds got better as the game went on. Pretty sure the midfielders minutes are all being managed. Especially Sercs, it seems.

All three were booked for dissent. Murray may even have put his hands on the official as well as being verbally abusive to the linesman. Agreed, though: the manhandling that Shrewsbury got away with was ridiculous - but we need to learn to reign in our frustration.

Almost forgot about Lloyd's great run and ball to Street, who somehow managed to wait so long to shoot and then hit it at a man back on the line.

I’ve never been a believer in George Lloyd but he was absolutely outstanding today. Worked hard, held the ball up well with good touches despite his size and looked a proper forward with too natural finishes. Absolutely tore their defence apart before setting up Street too. Never been more pleased to be proven wrong.

Lloyd has another year on his deal doesn't he? Can't see us handing out new deals right now given we need every pound for January window.

Today we finally got to see the George Lloyd we've all been waiting for. He was outstanding and a deserved man of the match - even though I thought Tom Bradbury pushed him close.

Agree with pretty much everyone else, it was a niggly first half and Shrewsbury arguably edged it, but we went in 1 up and built on that. Second half we were fantastic. Such a shame Ben Williams' free-kick didn't hit the back of the net.
