About their level now tbf, they had their chance and for whatever reason they didn't hit the heights people thought they would, can't see them ever going any higher.

Surprised me a bit that one and comes off the back of another couple of eye brow raising recent League 2 appointments with Karl Robinson to Salford and Steve Morison to Sutton. Amazing how quickly you can go from the 'new shiny thing' to the basement in football management.
Duffer will have to be careful or he'll be back in League 2 if he doesn't get something soon.

With his league two championship, our highest finish in league one and Barnsley in the playoffs (all quite recently) he probably has credit that will see him still on the radar but you are right, you're forgotten very quickly if you spend too much time on the golf coarse.Warwickshire Robin wrote: ↑08 Jan 2024, 11:37 Surprised me a bit that one and comes off the back of another couple of eye brow raising recent League 2 appointments with Karl Robinson to Salford and Steve Morison to Sutton.
