I'm led to believe it's more of a winger than an out and out forward.

I guess he will be young and for the future and may get a few cameo roles as and when it might be needed.
Probably been released from an academy somewhere. All guesswork on my part of course.

A very quick google of wingers turned up a lad from Portsmouth who was released and is a winger. Lad is called Jamie Howell. Not saying it is him, just playing the guessing game to see who we can come up with.

This is what is said about him...he's quick and should be playing for Man City by the description!!!
Speed

His outstanding speed (35+kmh) performance is on par with Premiship players. It enables Jamie to burst past players in a 1 v 1 situation and attack space quickly. 30 metre sprint time of 3.85 seconds (PB*).

Dribbling

Able to dribble in tight areas and find the right pass and cross.

Two Footed

Something Jamie has recently developed to great effect as you will see in the video clips of goals. Defenders don't know which way he will drive.

Seems the sort we take a punt on.

Another guess might be an ex Southampton lad as we have re-acquired the Southampton academy coach. Just guessing of course!

As previously mentioned I reckon it’s wide man Wes McDonald. Free agent that DC has worked with before.

Super striker will goodwin managed 29 minutes off the bench today for mid table Oxford united.

Meanwhile Alfie may seems doomed to relegation with Charlton who are punching well below their weight.

Ryan broom is propping up relegation fodder Fleetwood, and Ryan Jackson is at rock-bottom Sutton.

I wonder if anyone ever thinks…this club knows what it is doing???

The club wanted to keep both Alfie May and Will Goodwin, but knew they couldn't match what they wanted so had to let them go.

Ryan Broom and Ryan Jackson were both offered new deals at the end of last season but chose to go.

Not quite sure what your point is.

Don't think he really believes what he's saying tbh. Just fishing for responses (successfully) lol

I guess the point is that if players think they’re worth £4K a week and we don’t, we don’t mortgage the future trying to accommodate them and economize elsewhere to fit them in, we say good luck and move on.

So is this the end of the 'free agent' striker (player)? Was this just a punt to see if it would happen or do we have other options to go for? Or now we have a two in two striker is it still needed?

We are relying on Matty Taylor staying fit for the remaining games. Big ask. He took a knock on Saturday and then came off. Hope he is OK for Tuesday. We really do need LLoydy and Keena and J N to get a goal and stop the reliance on Matty to save us. Is it to late to get another striker in? Need more goals from the rest of the team. Number of times this season Lewis F has had chances around the goal. Could easily of had 5 goals. Same with Curtis can remember at least 2 sitters.

it's not too late to get a free agent in. Question is whether there are any we can afford who will do a better job than the ones we have, and who wants to come to us.
