I was thinking about Nuttall joining us from the National League and how that raised eyebrows.
It’s reminiscent of when Alsop rejoined us after playing for Bishop’s Cleeve, which thinking about it was a much more surprising and whacky signing.
Big Jules ended up being influential that season and making important positive contributions. So I think we need keep an open mind and wait to see what Nuttall can do. It could be a masterstroke by DC.

Fully agree, despite it being initially underwhelming we need to give the guy a chance and see what he can do. Maybe the Oldham manager just didn't know how to get the best out of him. DC has turned our hopeless bunch from August/September into a strong competitive side, maybe it'll be the same with Nuttall.
