The Head of Football Operations has gone after being in the job since....checks notes.....Christmas. They had a Director of Football as well. Literally no idea what the difference between the two is. Anyone? What a mess.

I can't help but feel, we got the best years of SC.

Maybe DV shut the forum down as the fans have been getting restless up there about what's going on and the happy clappy on social media etc. Some people were "discussing" DV's son Dane recently too.

Where's our friendly FGR visitors? Maybe they know what's going on? I often have a flick through their forum - particularly now since we took a striker off them who couldn't get into their team and they took SC as manager.

They changed their credit cards and forgot to put the new details down for the forum web payment. It's back up now

they pay for their domain and access by credit card? How odd
Also observe that the poor sod who does their streaming (after all they are too big to use ifollow) and their ticketing has also been sacked. I do hope the girl in the office is still employed or no decisions will be made :)

Yeah I thought the same on the credit card. There streaming has had a lot of issues

Unfortunately they'll probably end up surviving now. Still 4 points behind Grimsby but Artell not having the same effect as Cotterill. If it isn't Grimsby it'll probably be Colchester. Both picking up barely any points.

Not particularly concerned where they end up playing as long as we don't turn out to be playing them next year

Back to the bottom of League 2, although only two points (because their GD is worse) from safety. Sutton finding some good form of late. They looked dead and buried not long ago but it's now looking most likely that Colchester and FGR will go down on current form.

They're going to be suffering an exodus of fans, at this rate: https://forum.fgr.co.uk/post/humiliatio ... r-13130172

I think this was the one that got the thread locked
The position Dane is in is way above the ability and skill levels that he has.
If he did not have a father to employ him he would be working as a semi-skilled operator in a factory somewhere.
If he had even a modicum of common sense he would be using the knowledge and skills that Colin and the other long serving club members have to help him return the club to a successful and friendly one again.
He hasn't... so nothing will improve and we will stay on the downward spiral we are currently on.
I don't know why they don't set up their own forum that is unmoderated by the powers that be there.
Apparently, DV has put in planning permission again for houses at the New Lawn. Is he stupid enough to do that and then build the wooden stadium for 1000 fans in non league if that happens and they go down? Their next 5 games are against the top 5 I think.

It's just the clown show that keeps on giving.

I will hasten to add that in that thread about Colin Peake and the way he was treated is a damn disgrace as well. Without the likes of him and Trevor there would have been no FGR left.

There is an issue with the houses though and the natural habitat may have come back to bite Stale Mince. Frogs have been found at the site which may not help his cause, what a shame!

Apparently also the new ground is budgeted at £100m and it’s only like a 5000 seater! The bloke is not on this planet, maybe he’s suffering hangovers from his traveller days….

Hopefully Dane will be running the club soon.

Colchester and Sutton again winning, FGR comfortably losing the first of their 5 games against the top 5...it's looking grim up Nailsworth once more after a few weeks of hope.

Is that being sarcastic? Apparently he’s half the problem…

Steve looked a beaten man in his post match interview. It all just goes to show Troy Deeney was right about everything at that club

I cant see Steve being there next season. I think he's discovered how Vince works and like everyone knows he's clueless and that idiot son of his too. Maybe Steve will stay there if nothing comes up but he looks tired and done in
