The fact that the PSR ceiling is a £105m loss over three seasons tells you everything you need to know about the mad financial world football clubs operate in.

I'm a huge advocate for sustainable stewardship of football clubs, but seeing club after club spend wild sums of money while largely carrying on as normal on the pitch (hello Derby) is a tough watch.

Maybe I am being cynical but I reckon the reason for the reduction of 4 points is that Everton are going to penalised 6 points in their case so that the penalties are the same,

Reminded once again how lucky we are to have a well-run, stable League 1 club in our town. The other options are less appealing.
