We still have a chance, ok it’s a slim one but what a triumph it would be if we did the impossible and picked up enough points to stay up. Unlikely but we have a couple of days to learn that the best way to score goals is not to hit the ball into the keepers arms but to hit the ball out of his reach. It can be done, don’t look at the keeper when you shoot.

When Ferry moved back and Thomas went off all impetus was gone.

Sounds like Peterborough are going to field a reserve team so all we can do is win that game and go into the final day with some hope.
My memory prevents me from remembering the particular game. But I beleive it was a relegation decider where the opposition had a breakaway and I sat in the CF praying for our defender to take one for the team. It was like Deja vu yesterday.
The outcome was the same

Peterborough playing a bunch of fresh-legged, decent squad players with loads to prove, frankly, terrifies me.robinsrule wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 09:36 Sounds like Peterborough are going to field a reserve team so all we can do is win that game and go into the final day with some hope.
