So happy. We deserved that, even if it was a bit of a dodgy penalty. And we have had our fair share of terrible decisions go against us over the years...
One more time.

Just want the final to hurry up and happen.
Nine days have passed since the vibes momentum made it obvious England are winning it, so it’s annoying waiting. Just give us the trophy already.

How’s everyone planning to celebrate tonight?
Yep, sit back until we’re behind and then attack and score. Spain hit us with the late goal leaving us little time and yet we then had 2 cleared off the line. What could have been if we just went after teams as if we were losing from the off.
Fully expected defeat, we came closer than I thought. It doesn’t hurt like 2021 did, when we should have won. Roll on the Olympics.

Eddie Howe - but I can't see him leaving Newcastle, just yet.
Whoever takes over will have the best crop of footballers that we've ever had. Maybe short of a little depth in defence - but, even with that taken into account, this group could be World-beaters.

No point wasting time, he knew at the final whistle on Sunday, he just needed to talk to the FA about it and for them to preprare the statements from him and Mark Bullingham.
WC qualifiers start in about 2 months, I assume. Personally, ideally I'd like an English manager but at this time I would prefer a proven winner who knows the country, so Klopp would be perfect, imo. I doubt he would take it though, worried about tarnishing his legacy in the sovereign Scouse nation...

Klopp being mentioned. Not English, obviously - but I don't think it's a bad shout, despite that. Currently available; wanted to take a step away from the daily stress of management; already well known to many of the squad; like Southgate, a good man-manager; already has made significant investments in English football. Hell, he may even still live here. I wouldn't say no to ol' Clippety.

I suspect he wouldn’t want to tarnish his reputation in the People’s Republic of Scouseland.asl wrote:Klopp being mentioned. Not English, obviously - but I don't think it's a bad shout, despite that. There’s a big decision to make.
