A proper manager that will give England their best chance of winning something. He's won trophies everywhere he's been and will know the players he'll be working with. What's not to like?
Obviously, it would be nice if this country could produce our own coaches...
I suppose we don't produce much ourselves any more thanks to two or three Prime Ministers.

If we fail to win the World Cup, it will be an abject failure of an appointment which is a high bar to set.

Won the Champions League in his debut season with Chelsea. If he does the equivalent for England with the World Cup then fantastic.
The only risk is that he falls into the same trap he did at Bayern, where Kane’s flat track bullying (e.g 8-1 vs Mainz) but failure in the big games and crucial moments ended up costing Bayern the league title, as it has with England in the last three tournaments.

Let's be honest, it doesn't matter who we have in charge or which players we have on the pitch, we will always bottle it/have some unfathomable ref decisions given against us in the QF, Semis or Final against a France, Spain or, probably now we have a German manager, Germany. Etc. "This is the best chance England have ever had since 1966," followed by a huge let down.
