Assume Shade can't be bothered to preview this one. I'm going to do barely any better with the referee appt:

It's Steven Copeland. No previous record officiating Town. He's been a National League stalwart for six years, yet to be entrusted with any EFL fixtures. Make of that what you will.

To pad this one out a bit, played for both include Grant McCann, Jamie Victory, Levi Laing, and the lad from Iceland who was here in the Martin Allen era.
Any others?

We had Michail Antonio on loan for a while. Didn't think he'd end up as a Premier League striker..!

I agree, we had him and Nicholas Bignall at the same time and I thought Bignall was the better player.

He ended up playing for 6 more clubs on loan before Reading let him go in 2014 for him to go to......Basingstoke.

Correct. With the amount of changes managers make to the EFL sides, and the lack of information and player turnover regarding the U21 sides, I don’t see too much point in doing them for the Trophy. Plus, I don’t think many ppl care all that much, given attendances of the games. If we were to get through to the quarter finals then I’ll probably do it.

Looking forward to it, this competition could have a big impact on our season if it means we can get an extra player in
