Re: Colchester United v Cheltenham Town
Got to disagree. He waited his time to break into the team, improved loads after getting a regular start and was our only attacking threat in the second half of last season. This season he’s been poor though.

Re: On pitch 'friendly fire'
After he was sent off he turned around and went back to have a go at the ref. He was on loan from Barnet at the time and was immediately sent back.

He’ll be injured by next week. I think he’s started about 4 league games since he left us.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
A battling performance. We didn’t really deserve 3 points but we did last week and got nothing. The back four were really solid and IMO Broom deserves to be there even when AJB is available again. Stevenson had another good game and kept the midfield ticking. I thought Josh Martin just gave us somet...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
Well, that was poor, barely got out of our own half. Taylor anonymous so far, Day nearly caught in possession three times, no serious attempt on goal. Ref absolutely shocking, totally oblivious to all the shirt pulling.

No we don’t and I doubt we’ll get any news before the game as SC likes to keep these things close to his chest.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Notts County
Beaten by the better team. Worst decision of the night was Bickerstaff trying to pull the shirt off the defender’s back when Archer had a clear run at them on the right. Absolutely no need for it.

If anyone hasn’t read this, it’s worth taking the time. There seem to be a lot of ideas that the main board either don’t have the imagination or time to implement.

As someone who watches from the terraces, I’m ok with the price being charged. I believe there are plenty of teams at National League North & South level that charge £15 or more for league games.

Re: CTFC v non-League
Buxton no mugs won the last 4 and 6 0 on the last outing definitely not a foregone conclusion theyll bring a decent following as well ! They will also be bringing ex Robins academy product Callum Ebanks too, so he's bound to score! Interesting journey for him. I saw him playing for Stratford Town l...

CTFC v non-League
I think I've grabbed all of our games against non-League opposition as a FL team. Here goes, but readers of a nervous disposition should stop reading the list about half-way through: 01/2 1R Kettering T A 6-1 01/2 2R Hinckley Utd A 2-0 02/3 1R Yeovil T A 2-0 11/2 2R Luton T A 4-2 12/3 1R Yate T H 3-...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bradford City
There’s a couple of clips on You Tube where you can hear a whistle but it’s just before we take the kick anyway. So even if it was the ref, the goal would stand.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bradford City
A lot of people heard a whistle after the kick was taken. If it was the ref, I’m not sure what the protocol would be. If it wasn’t the ref, it’s play on.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Walsall
Just seen the highlights. What a superb run by Bickerstaff. Most players would have thrown themselves to the ground out by the touchline but he makes the goal by continuing at pace into the box and you can see their defender is reluctant to commit.

Re: Burton Albion £8m loss
I’d love to know what their business model was. Even if they won promotion there’d be no pot of gold, the stakes just get higher. And part of their £8m loss was attributed to bonuses paid to players per point, so a successful season in L1 would have likely brought bigger losses.

It’s just another (unwilling) message from the board when they’ve been backed into a corner. DB has no credibility left in my book. MG really needs to step up and talk with the fans directly.

Re: Next Manager
It was hopeless in the sense that DC began from an extremely low point. No confidence plus no goals and one point from something like 11 games is as bad as it gets. We needed significant improvement just to become a poor team and display ‘normal’ relegation form. From the moment he arrived we needed...

I have a huge amount of respect for PG and think he does a great job. I also disagree with some of the things he posted on the forum, particularly the comment about forgetting stuff after a few wins. It is possible to hold such opinions. Despite what the owners of social media would like, we don’t h...

If we were 6th or 7th bottom then maybe someone like Brady would be a better option but we need an appointment to match our circumstances. I’ve never liked Evans’ match day antics but he could be just what we need.

IMO whoever was in favour of turning down the Trust’s offer of an independent review of the club should not be on the board of directors. This decision was made to protect their own positions and was not in the best interests of the club.

Re: How did we get into this mess?
It’s been complete stagnation because we’re run on a best endeavours basis, barely treading water and with no innovation or future planning. This may have been enough at one time but we’ve slipped further and further behind other clubs that are run on a more professional basis.
