Baraclough has been in place as assistant manager with Cheltenham Town, relegated to League Two, since January so some compensation would have to be paid if he leaves that role but that’s not a major stumbling block.
They know it will be about £150 compensation

Re: Retained list
Going back to Saturday I thought Pardington had a great game, the pressure he was under was immense, he dominated his box so it appeared from our end and made 3 or 4 excellent saves. A major factor in our relegation was our lack of scoring goals, and we offer a new deal to llyod who scored 2 goals ...

The issue is they appear to be working against each other not with each other. Get various companies to look into it obviously but do it together not behind each others back.horlickfanclub wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 13:34 Why is that alarming? Seeking more than one opinion seems wise to me.

It was pretty clear from the forum that DC wants to see a plan if he stays. It was also clear there is not much of a plan so I believe he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Also in events hosted by the club that include the chairman, board members and the first team manager can they not do any better than having them sat behind a sad looking table, where's the marketing hoardings that display the club crest (that cover the whole table), various sponsors of the club, w...

Re: TONIGHT: 2023/24 Club Annual Shareholders Meeting and Fans’ Forum
DC will be gone by May simply because there is no plan. I see both sides. Supporters want to see the club spend but the club doesn't have the money and will not spend money they don't have (and rightly so). Bloxham is a good bloke with best intentions and although he came up short of answers last ni...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
How have they been undermined by the board? I agree with everything else you say, especially confidence being a fragile thing. We had an up and at 'em mentality for a few months and I remember saying after we beat Oxford that every game has to be a battle for us. It's up to other teams to match us ...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
Why has the form, confidence and everything else drained away from what DC had to what he doesn't have now? Granted we havent ever been on fire this season but we have looked a threat, scored a few goals and won a few games under DC. Now I think if we played anyone we would lose. What has gone so ba...

Pathetic.
Absolutely no goal threat what so ever. No surprise after selling the goal scorers.
Accept relegation and rebuild a competitive squad again after a mass clearout in May

Great win particularly with results elsewhere.
Hopefully it will give Keena some good confidence to kick on now and bag a few goals which will keep us up. Its still very much in our hands with the games in hand over some but we must win.
COYR!

Not sure I would ever want to see the day the trust own the majority of the club. Re: Robins Report Podcast
If Lloyd is off it surely raises the question of whether it‘s worth persevering with young players if they‘re not immediately ready to make the step up. The club have invested years in Lloyd‘s development with little in the way of return until this season (excluding goals) and then he‘s apparently ...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
Not listened to the POD but if you are saying George Lloyd is off then good riddance. His goal scoring record is absolutely abysmal for a striker. The club have persevered and persevered with him and he simply hasn't lived up to expectation.

The Einstein's are of course correct. It is wrong yo even have the opinion that it may be more cost effective to install a 4g pitch than spend it on Whaddon Road.
