Re: Big TV/streaming changes for next season
the streaming of midweek games will affect attendances as people might not fancy watching Cheltenham v Barrow on a freezing cold February night when they can sit at home with a beer and watch it

Re: Big TV/streaming changes for next season
Sky have just announced some big TV changes for next season. Appears every EFL team will be available on Sky’s new streaming platform at least 20 times a season. On the surface that does suggest to me that’s at least 20 games which won’t be a Sat 3pm KO, unless the blackout rules don’t apply to the...

Re: Darrell Clarke after Stevenage defeat
Hearing rumours we might be about to appoint a Director of Football and it's a face we all know. Unsure how that fits with keep Clarke for next season but I believe he worked with one at Port Vale and Bristol Rovers. Hopefully a bit of positive news on a really low day for the club. Face we all kno...

the club will get extra revenue this summer from the new TV deal so that will hopefully avoid increasing ticket prices

Re: Season tickets
with the extra revenue that the new EFL TV deal is generating then that should prevent the need to raise ticket prices. As for £27 a ticket - Crewe, Swindon and Harrogate (next season) all charge that for a seated ticket

Re: Open Letter to the Board
The content of this letter is totally uncalled for and highly offensive to a group of directors who are giving their very best for the club. I just hope that none of them take it personally enough to up and leave their roles at Whaddon Road. The Chair was very clear what the plan is for the club; t...

Re: Birmingham or Bromley. Sheffield or Solihull.
Don't discount Millwall or Plymouth either ( have the former ever been to Whaddon Road? ). The difference between L1 and L2 is really stark. Gateshead brought 14 fans down in our National League season. I remember counting them. Of the National League promotion contenders, only Chesterfield and Ald...

Bloxham only cares about money so if away fans are willing to buy 1400 tickets then its cash in the bank, after all there wont be too many big away followings next season apart from Swindon and maybe Bradford

Re: League One - clubs in crisis
I am starting to think that another Reading points deduction is the only way we are going to stay in League One.. Which means if we are in the drop zone then stay in 21st place. Someone mentioned that anymore points deductions will be implicated at the start of next season. i think 31st March is th...

Re: The rest of the season
Sorry Si ,but I respectfully question what you say. Finding 21k shouldn't be beyond a National League club let alone a L1 club, so to say we might become insolvent is scaremongering. Whether there's an oven ready option out there who knows, but for heavens sake we need to try. If we max out the cre...

Shows again how desperate we are for that new main stand with that in place we are probably looking at an extra thousand on the gate tomorrow. It also has to be the right stand with revenue generating facilities. An extra 1,000 a game would be, what, £20,000 ticket sales a game, totalling £460,000 ...
