Their title challenge withering away with a draw to the bottom side. They’ve really lost it lately and SC getting some flack. Hope they stay down where they rightfully belong.

Re: Michael Flynn after Barrow win
I’m with Flynn on his assessment of the first half. I said at half time I thought it was an even game, we had the better of the, relatively few, chances and thought we were really unlucky to be 1 down. I can't recall Barrow having any other chance than their goal but they played well on the counter...

Yes, because getting relegated hurts but if you still have the investors then that’s fine. But if they pull out then you lose that backup funding.

Re: Loan midfielder
That's the risk we need to accept in Lincolns case given the owners are funding it through shareholder investment they are relatively safe and if the owners stopped investing they could likely cut back on expenditure and be ok. Opposite of say Bury or Swindle where the club carried the debt However...

It’s poor and hopefully someone will request a review of the sentence. He has the money and resources to hire a driver, if he feels his job is so important he shouldn’t have been speeding in the first place.

Re: Investor deck
If a consortium of very well off local people decided to go in together, they could find £20m quite easily. For example, Dunkerton is worth over a billion, and there's a fair few billion knocking around up in the Cotswolds...not exactly a deprived part of the country we're in, is it. Maybe Clarkson...

Tech stocks aside and talking strictly UK now. I know HMRC have tried and lost before but why is a football creditor preferred over HMRC? The only thing I can think of is that League football clubs have an almost guaranteed income, no matter how much they’re losing or currently in debt. They’re als...

Worries mounting regarding the finances at Swindon. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/24900886.truststfc-concerned-consequences-swindon-town-debt/ It's odd that football clubs aren't treated like companies for the most part - letting HMRC debt accrue, not paying suppliers etc - and are allo...

I doubt the upfront fee would be much but add on/sell on clauses make all the difference with players like this. There are hits and misses. Who was the lad who we sold to Coventry a few years back? I don’t think he made the grade and is now back playing locally? Christer Warren was another from 30 ...
