Re: Our Image as 'non league'
I actually like the view of the Main stand from the tv cameras. It may be ramshackle, higgledy-piggledy, but it’s interesting and unique. It has a traditional, bucolic air about. The alternative is a view of the CF which, while modern and functional, is also pretty dull and utilitarian. No-one is g...

Re: Chant lyrics question
I believe it starts along the lines of "we've been all over England.....and we're never going to stop" about as much as I can remember.
Its this https://youtu.be/rqNXvtUoVI4?si=cmX3VjGzykezuS8B but obviously adjusted lyrics.

Not convinced anyone will be bidding for thomas, well not big enough for us to have to accept the bid. Love watching him play but his numbers are still pretty low,19 apps 2 goals 3 assists, cant see anyone spending 250k for that when hes likely a free transfer in 5 months time. Absolutely no chance SC...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Leicester City
One of the things that stood out for me today was all the Leicester players had a very good first touch/control,there was very few bad touches where our players could nip in and rake the ball. Felt like Leicester could have stepped it up a notch if needs be. No complaints from me,seen criticism of l...

Re: Recalled
Are clubs queueing up for Thomas? I haven't seen any rumours like last summer, and I can't imagine we will be looking to cash in on him now before SC has managed to replace what we've lost. Archer, Adelakun, Hutchinson, and Thomas, probably scored and/or assisted, what, 85-90% of our goals in the l...

I was told by the FED the equipment was provided by the FL. I see no reason why he would have said that if it was otherwise?.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Crawley Town
Id assume mk dons have under soil heating anyway. No coincidence when you get given the proper equipment, even with the stuff we had the side by the colin farmer stand was still white when the game kicked off. By the looks of all the games called off they just had frost covers o the ground, doesnt se...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Crawley Town
The game only went ahead today due to sky providing proper equipment. Had we used our frost covers that just lay on the pitch it would have been off like all the other games.
If its as cold next week leading up to the game it'll be off.

Sloppy all round SC needs read riot act. Young only one that's seems on it I really like Tomkinson but two games running his man has scored at the back post ?? I mentioned the other day I think we need a left back because Tomkinson isnt effective enough supporting the winger infront of him. Thats n...

Re: Crewe Alexandra v Cheltenham Town
AJB conspicuous by his absence, there - but surely that was close enough to Day for him to cut it out?? AJB was halfway up the pitch. It was his wayward pass when we were on the attack that led to the goal. It was archer who made a shocking pass and have it away, ajb was ahead of him leading the bre...

Shrewsbury were probably the poorest side ive seen at Whaddon road this season and anyone who is just organised and ...

Should have just given them the full allocation and cashed in. Even for Sunderland at home we had 4,200 home fans in attendance, our attendances for evening games have always dipped compared to afternoon kick off. As.for the game itself im feeling a little nervous,we're in good form and me being a p...

Re: Shadow Board Update - Leicester tickets
Scrapping the under 14s ticket will kill our future supports imo. It needs sorting sharpish, I started taking all my kids at the age of 4,my youngest is now coming up 7 and he wants to go to every game possible, anything over 6/7 quid for that age is terrible. I think its 11.50 in advance and 13.50 o...

Speaking of Wilson being hard done by, did anyone see the incident in the first half where he and a couple others were adamant he took a deliberate elbow? I was following the ball so didn’t see it, but he was having quite a good go at the Lino on the CF Stand side, asking “How didn’t you see that? ...

Re: Current Form - Progress under SC
Totally depends on January. We're close enough that if SC gets the players he wants it could happen. But I'm sure most of us would take a comfortable end to the season without needing to look over our shoulders? Yesterdays game was the example of why we cant pull away from the bottom at the moment....

Best ever CTFC goal? I think that Neil Grayson's volley from the halfway line against Plymouth at WR is up there, and of course Alfie's long shot against Posh. Any ideas about tomorrow’s crowd? I assume Buxton are bringing 1500 so I’d be disappointed with less than 5000 (but Chelt fans have let me down many times before). Obviously a huge chance to progress to a money-spinning tie (or Stevenage away). Buxton have sold just over 500,and looking at our tick...
