Re: Fleetwood tomorrow

Good. Which reminds me, what happened to the minutes applause and picture on the screen for the Cheltenham fan (Ricky?) a week or two ago? I don't remember it happening? His picture was put up on the screen, unfortunately large parts of the ground missed it. The home end behind the goal seemed to be...

Re: Is there a gentlemans agreement

Not sure that would be the case with king, it's not like he's in our first 11 or even in the squad to be useful for the remainder of the season. It's quite refreshing we've rejected a bid for one of our own,far to many have moved quickly and they've ended up in non league. hopefully we have the chan...

Re: Loan midfielder

I'm pretty happy with the current loan we have from another league two club atm, admittedly they are a few places above us.
Nice to have someone with experience come in,can't keep bringing in kids and lower league players and expect to push on.

Re: Tom King

I doubt the upfront fee would be much but add on/sell on clauses make all the difference with players like this. There are hits and misses. Who was the lad who we sold to Coventry a few years back? I don’t think he made the grade and is now back playing locally? Christer Warren was another from 30 ...

Re: Accrington Stanley v Cheltenham Town

I saw it's Liam Dulson's birthday. I'd genuinely forgotten we had him. I know it hasn't been that long since he was actually on the pitch but he's obviously well down the pecking order when everyone is fit, behind Bowman. Dulson has been injured for a good month or so now ? Or seems that long anyway.

Re: 4000+ home fans

Either way our stint in league one seems to have grown our fan base,by around 4/500 I think. Despite it being a pretty unimpressive season sofar I think the crowds have held up very well. It would be interesting should we ever have a season like walsall and romping the league just how much we'd have...

Whilst I thought Payne was half decent going forward he was to weak defensively.im sure he'll improve as he keeps gaining experience but there's no need to have three RBs/right wing backs.

Block 2 always shown as pretty much woth online ticket sales but again on most match days there's rows of upto 6 seats empty.
This happens on alot of games, very strange ge why you'd bother getting one only to.miss a shed load.

Re: New stand development

Great communication from Bromley polar opposite to our board. Also 8 months to build a stand about half the size of what we need, we can realistically expect a full season without the stand and a limited capacity of around 5000 that will be tough on the finances. How often do we get over 5,000 for ...

Bradbury is doing a fine job,my only issue is his attacking ability limits archers options, nothing against Bradbury as he's being asked to do something that isn't really natural to his game......although it seems we have little option atm.

Our average attendance last year was just over 4,600 which was our second ever highest average attendance. One that stands out for me personally was the 4-3 win over Northampton In 2003, not an important game just the run of the mill league 2 game. But the C&G was absolute carnage when devaney scored the winner. Obviously we have the richard forsyth pen re takes aswell for extra drama. May have been ...

When we went 1-0 up mentally it seemed they all wanted to sit back,Bromley changing it up with more giants had us on the back foot from then.
All it needed was the lads to stay calm get their foot on the ball and start passing it about and keeping possession, but we played into their hands.

I'm expecting another solid turn out of 3,500 ctfc fans. No reason why not as we've been around that on Saturday games all season and we're in good for.

As someone else mentioned, many seasons in league 2 have seen home turn outs closer to 3,000 and below even on weekend games.

Doesn't matter what players or formation we play opposition seem to be quicker to the 2nd balls, sharper, more attacking threat.
We need time to gel with 19 signings but Newport don't with their 17
Vs ten men we need to show we can dominate a side,I'm not holding my breath.
