Re: Burton Albion v Cheltenham Town
Elliot Bonds is sooo slow and can Taylor spend more time actually trying to win a header rather than ducking out of headers to try and win a fee kick, which isn’t working.

fair enough, DC has to take this one then, too much riding on a game to experiment and still wait until the 2nd to make any changes bearing in mind yiur one down.

Re: Darrel Clarke after Carlisle defeat
“keep it simple”
by changing to a new formation with a day on the training pitch prior to the game. Why not just use the same system that pushed Exeter in the 2nd half?
I also don’t understand why he continued a whole half when it was quite obvious it wasn’t working after ten minutes?

Re: Robins Report Podcast
At this level? And to the extent some on this board believe it? Pretty much every time we lose, it's "oh, this ref is bent". Conversely, when we win, the ref hardly gets a mention! This government is bent, our national utilities are bent, local councils are bent, big business is bent. To ...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
interesting section on CTFC being generally screwed over by matchday officials (this season), the general consensus was that CTFC are pretty much on the receiving end of poor officiating and although there was 'no conspiracy theories' I don't think there was any explanation (from any guest) as to wh...

Re: another heart warming football story
Loathe as I am to defend Brighton, of all the targets for obscene spending in the Premier League there are plenty more deserving of opprobrium than Bloom. That half a billion spend is over a near 20 year period and includes £100m spent on one of the best, most beautifully designed stadiums in the c...

Re: Lloyd latest
Crazy to think we have 5 strikers and the top 3 in the pecking order are all out at the most important part of the season. However, sounds like Taylor and Lloyd could still play a part. Agree that we looked good 2nd half on Monday, but I imagine DC will keep faith with 5-3-2, at least to start game...

Re: Birmingham or Bromley. Sheffield or Solihull.
Don't discount Millwall or Plymouth either ( have the former ever been to Whaddon Road? ). The difference between L1 and L2 is really stark. Gateshead brought 14 fans down in our National League season. I remember counting them. Of the National League promotion contenders, only Chesterfield and Ald...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Exeter City
Another 'suspicious' action from Martin was his run to the half way line after the third penalty shout for a "discussion" with the 4th official, thus allowing Exeter to completely reset before the corner and taking all our impetus out of our attack.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Exeter City
Seen the replay of the Exeter pen decision now and it seems to be one of those that was never a pen according to the original handball rule, i.e. it had to be deliberate. No way was it deliberate but it did seem to hit the hand and these days it is down to how ready the ref is to give it and of cou...

A the moment still think he's at his best (and do most damage) with the ball half way into the oppositions half, his shooting needs work but don't want him worrying about that at the moment. If only we had Street and Taylor fit!!!!

Corruption level of officiating by Martin, for whatever reason he has decided to ref the game the way he has and it needs investigation. One thing that struck me was when Thomas went down (in the box) he was surrounded by five or six Exeter players who weren't to shy in their general aggression (pul...

Their new owner bought the club last summer so is not responsible for the mess these losses indicate. so you think the new owner(s) are going to...

Imagine some home fans prefer to drink in Parklands. for a guaranteed sold out away following making away only means away fans don't have the risk of being turned away at other pubs, its right next to the ground so no risk of having to leave a pub (they can get in) early to make kick off and pretty...

Iglu run the bowling green and other food and drink outlets. Money grows money. The club has little compared to others. If we had more money, we could employ more people, who could generate more income. We could invest more into the facilities, which would generate more income. Just because other owners are able and willing to throw £1m in, or are able to op...

Re: David Bloxham interview
We are still a bit non league off the pitch, is my personal view. The makeup of the board to me seems to lack the necessary skills and invention and willingness to progress to being a forward thinking League 1 club and beyond. Could do with better PR from the board, including a detailed plan on how...
