Re: New head of commercial operations
I hope this works out (obviously we all do). Based on our experience of seeing people appointed to the role then it'll be interesting to see how long he lasts. On LinkedIn, he's put the following under his current role description: "To lead ,create and execute a strategic commercial strategy a...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
the latest edition is a great listen, everyone speaks very well and can tell there's drive, passion and great ideas. it seems 99.9% of the current boards time and resource is spent making sure we have a playing squad to compete in league two, this in itself is a big task for a part time board in a s...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
It was talked about a while ago I think but the ideal place could be by the racecourse. Loads of parking, could be used for joint events such as concerts but would depend who ended up owning the ground as we wouldn’t want to be a tenant again else we lose revenue. The racecourse is very much a 'sta...

So is there 'less' pressure on the club now to have to find money now we are in league two as costs have reduced?
I would like to know what the difference is in commercial revenue from being in league 1 to league 2?

VAR
Don't think its going anywhere, just think of all those late goals that small prem clubs will score against the big boys that can't be ruled out because of VAR. The horse has well and truly bolted on this one and not coming back. someone on the BBC's page made an excellent comment about the match of...

I've had to grit my teeth on this and that fact that derby have had their praises sung by all for their promotion not taking into consideration they've basically done a £uck you all!! having nearly gone out of business, they'll be back in league one in no time after chasing the prem dream. Big clubs...

any chance of a 'like' button or other emojis that can be added to a post, rather than having to keep responding with text when a simple 'like' or 'thumbs up' 'applaud' will suffice.

always remember a video of city fans on a bus and they make a joke about a "collection" for CTFC and passed a bag around which was then spat in by various supporters.
wouldn't want anything to do with them.

The trust have pulled a blinder here which should cause a few red faces amongst the board, The board need help and hopefully full collaboration with the trust can get us all pointing and aiming in the right direction.

the state of some of the pitches in league two come the end of the season (from watching highlights) , we should get three points given to us just for our playing surface.

Anyone know who the clubs are at our level who own their own grounds? It's murky but I understood Derby and Reading did own their grounds but that was moved to companies under their former/current owners. Portsmouth, Bolton, Lincoln, Burton, Northampton, Cambridge and Wycombe own their grounds base...

Possibly but I believe Ipswich and Plymouth received quite a bit of US based investment before Wrexham became a thing. I can see the logic with someone like Ipswich, they come invest £20 million and if that money get's them to the Premier league they make a huge return. If it fails it's a relative ...

it would be a nice gesture from the club that would show some thanks for a quite awful season and doing their bit to get as many supporters to a vital game.
ST's go on sale soon so maybe a good bit of PR for the club (if they want it).
