Re: TONIGHT: 2023/24 Club Annual Shareholders Meeting and Fans’ Forum

"I was quite shocked that Bloxham thinks CTFC can ‘just’ sell players each season to survive and was backed up by other members of the board as though why is this policy even being questioned “As it’s what the club have always done” it’s very concerning that this board seem to be rollin...

Great result and, given ther fare over the last few weeks, I thought we were really quite good tonight... Pretty good perforfances across the board... Nuttall and Thomas especially; both threatened. Still a very tough three games to come... which makes you wonder where that 90 (+20) minute performan...

So true... if they read the "Nest" we could have been relegated last season...! And the one before.

Thanks Shade... I thought, naively, it was good effort to see a few positive replies. Sadly you let us down! Come on... "backs against the wall" (and then another one). Do for now please try to be positive...just for one more time (two better still).

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Si Robin... Good observations above. On the whole I thought Nutall did OK. For me, inspite of the Radio Glos praise for it, I thought the big tactical change for this game was wrong. Second half better - BUT we do know (of old) finding the goal, and/or better still scoring one, is generally hard wor...

The horns of dilemma... Stand and get do to get see the key moments. Or sit behind people who want to stand up all the time (but with obviously limited occassions recently). Keep the standing areas. I do though have some empathy with giving the oppostion more numbers just now... It does seem to seem...

"would love to see plymouth back in league one, their jumped up fanbase well and truly back in their box. They're lower league and deep down they know it." Sorry... 26 years in Plymouth and it's been annoying - but they are definately not "jumped-up". I think, outside of Bristol...

Re: League One - clubs in crisis
Supporter numbers help... You also need to show some respect to the supporter base. Though I do, increasingly, tend to understand the idea of supporting success with the overspend - but I will always question the throwing one's hand up when it goes pear-shaped. For most years it was a non-league Che...

I've not yet written off staying up. That said. League One, League Two players, and a surprise or too. Then the key factor. A good manager - who seems to give a toss. We have that proven.
We can still do it. I'll leave it that.

People have said it... Free agents not wanted by others so why by us? It is the way it is. For me, we still have a chance, for a few more games at least. May - agreed out and had to go. Goodwin - a late comer with success - and no trees pulled-up since our record transfer income. Street and Taylor i...

Very old days... with brother and his mates being established at WR... it was the 'Jolly Brewmaster' and then the 'Paddock' - and for a time 'free parking at Queen's Home Nursing Home (mum worked there). I still struggle to see how enhanced non-match day income at Whaddon Road will rise enough to justify the rebuilding of the Grandseat. I feel the Club has done pretty well since the 1960s in terms of ground and team progression. Slowly, slowly... We have made serious progress - and, more importantly...

Seen this a couple of times... "IIRC"?
No idea of what it means... so I am going with "Instantly - Inland Revenue Coming"?
If it is just "If I recall...?" That's surely IFR? Either way, please just type it... If something else, please educate but do not assume.

Re: Derby County v Cheltenham Town
Derby fans have mixed views about their current keeper. For a few games previous (not just Chelt) it was Wildsmith. But, it was a saveable shot - as seen from behind the goal. From what I have gleaned (and experienced) Derby fans expect much more than they offered on Saturday. Oh to be at that end o...
