Re: Open Letter to the Board

I’ll pick you up on the new stand we so dearly need. Why would anyone invest £10m odd on a new stand at a stadium which sits on land which isn’t even owned by the club? It does not make commercial sense for an investor. Also we have just invested in solar on the stadium which will reduce overheads ...

Re: Open Letter to the Board

The content of this letter is totally uncalled for and highly offensive to a group of directors who are giving their very best for the club. I just hope that none of them take it personally enough to up and leave their roles at Whaddon Road. The Chair was very clear what the plan is for the club; t...

Open Letter to the Board

Dear David, I am writing to you to express my deep concern at the recent fans forum and the way it was conducted and the messaging which came out of the meeting which I watched on live stream. While I fully appreciate that the club are small in scale and are very much a selling club, what hit me was...

FGR - Youtube Visit - Them up the hill.

Interesting video from a young youtuber on a visit to FGR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfM9aLZgBg0 Some really great interviews in, clubs history, views on Mr Vince, even a club comment on Troy which was ever so slightly negative! Obviosuly a bit of Vince marketing so surprised he was able to ask...

Amongst the euphoria I completely forgot that yesteday is probably the last time we will see some players wearing our shirt with Flatt, Burgess and Dickie all going back to their clubs. They feel like our own, and Flatt's only played 10 games. I'm pretty sure we're all hoping Dillon Phillips will b...

Re: SCOREBOARD AGAIN ,,,,,,

In an ideal world, yes it would be nice to have one. But realistically I would want any money available plowed into the playing budget. I think the cost out weights the benefit, i.e. the revenue raised through adverts would not cover the cost in the first year. Also do people really struggle that mu...

The only ones I would release are those which we know are going already then Rowe possible Walters and Munns (the later I think are to light weight for league two)

Re: Buying tickets on-line

Why would they keep tickets back especially for walk up fans in the PRE Road end, that's nuts! You don't keep things back just in case there might be demand on the day, you make all the tickets available before hand and if they sell out fantastic. Its not hard to get a ticket in advance these days, ...

I wonder why? Presumably the club want to keep PRE tickets available for those that pay on the day. Would be great to see over 6,000 there. Last time we won the Conference we had a sell out for the Yeovil game but only 5,400 to see us lift the trophy (although a large % of those missing could have ...
