Re: FA Cup third round
For the second time in the past 20 years a financially stricken Exeter City have been handed a money-spinning tie in Manchester. Jammy feckers. I thought that. That's them out of the s#!t in 5 weeks time. Let's not also forget that Leicester were winners of this competition only 4 years ago. It's e...

There's at least 8 ties on TV. There's a chance.

Re: FA Cup third round
c!#p draw all round. First thoughts are we have a chance of it being on TV, with it being at home. Lots of PL v PL and Champ v Champ games, not many lower league v PL or Champ.

Re: Ball Number 62
I've got a feeling it'll be scum (ManUre) at home. And I will hate every second unless we pull a Grimsby on them. Them, or something incredibly drab and uninspiring. Like when we got Crewe at home in Rd3 in 2021, I think. What followed was alright, though. Here's a link to watch the draw on TNT's yo...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Buxton
I wouldn't have thought he would get rid of Bennett, Bakare, and Cundy all in one window. I think Cundy, based on Saturday, will be fine as the 4th choice CB, after Wilson, Sherring, and Tomkinson. Or maybe Cundy is ahead of Tomkinson, given SC's refusal to play anyone else other than him and JT at ...

Re: RNF PREDICTA LEAGUE 2025/26
Tomorrow night at Swindon: https://robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=378450#p378450 Points galore this weekend. Everybody scored at least 3. Nobody got the correct score, but I feel like I should have slipped myself a few extra points for predicting we'd score at least 5. If I'd have known Benne...

Re: Gate Closure
Curiously, the gate seemed to be opened after all. Not sure exactly when, but was open by the time I left the CF stand maybe 10 mins after the final whistle. Deliberate? Or did somebody not get the memo? The actual gate between the stands was open after all? The big gate at the side of the stand is...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Buxton
Bennett's only been here 18 months and I've never known another player subbed off at, or before, half time as much. And that last one last season was a disgrace. Clearly Flynn and Bennett putting themselves before the club, and sticking us with a regularly crocked, walking mistake of a player for an...

Because ground regs generally forbid persistent standing in seated areas. It doesn't seem to be enforced often though, unless someone complains.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Buxton
Will be interesting to see if Bennett gets another chance. SC obviously made decisions on the likes of Pell, Angol and Backwell and doesn't fancy Harmon and Power as both full back positions we've been playing guys out of position because he doesn't trust them, so will Bennett now be on the bomb sq...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Buxton
Tbf - and I was as guilty as anyone for directing some vitriol towards SB - I noticed Leeds conceded their first against Liverpool last night in almost identical circumstances and pitch position as Bennett did. So SC is right: mistakes happen. Having watched both, Rodon's mistake was probably his t...

2 goals and an assist, Hutchinson was the right choice for me, then Adelakun. Thomas had a good last half hour but the other two helped keep us in the game.

This ref...tells their players being subbed off to go round the pitch in front of the away end, then puts makes the game wait until they've gone...
At last, 4-2 and surely game over.

Only if we all can... I think we will still win this but to be 2-1 down at half time is ridiculous. We should have had 4. We SHOULD improve in the second.

Re: December
It's simple, winnable home game Rd 3, winnable home game Rd 4 - that's £374,750k in prize money so far for Rd 1-4. Then a massive away game for Rd 5 or, even better but more unlikely, the QF. I don't know why everyone is always in such a rush to get a big club in Rd 3. Interest and money always grow...

It's not going to be a surprise that a lot go out, but it would be a surprise if we have anywhere near as many coming in. Not that I think he will for one moment, but the last thing we need is SC to for full Clarke and destroy a team that he's got playing a lot better than they were when he came in...

Re: December
If we get through then we have to cross everything that we get a Premier league club away to help cover the losses we are racking up this season. Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or Villa away would be perfect but no doubt we will get a league one team at home. Winning in the third round would ...
