Re: POP UP ADS etc.
I use Chrome on computer and android, and I was getting tons of ads last year. I'm not sure when, but they've all disappeared at some point.

Re: After the Lord Mayor’s Show
Also, there are a lot of bugs going around at the moment. I missed Grimsby because of one. I know a couple of people that missed Saturday because of one. A couple of ST's near me haven't been since the last game before Christmas, which is very unusual, so hope they're ok but assume at least one of t...

Re: Cheltenham Town v MK Dons
Did anyone have a good view of the goal-kick / corner leading up to the opening goal? It was right in front of me and I thought it was a corner before anyone protested otherwise, having taken a little flick. Others around me seemed to think it was a goal kick. I didn’t see it, but the guy next to m...

If nothing else, Ashfield in for Young would give us more legs in the middle. However, it looks like he will also give us more quality.

I've just watched the highlights and their third was very, very close to being offside. VAR might well have ruled it out.

Nobody can deny Bickerstaff is a good finisher. I only remember him having about 5 shots all season and he's scored 4 of them
and the other one was saved and he scored the rebound.

Makes sense. Whereas Nurse hasn't completely stunk the place out, we, nor Tomkinson, have been as good since JT2 has switched to right back.

Well, by "probably within parameters he's been asked to look for," that's pretty much what I meant. I'd imagine it works both ways, though. Essentially, Russ is the man on the ground looking at the players and Keith is the man looking at the lists of names and analysing the data.

Russ is "Chief Scout." Keith Burt is "Head of Recruitment." To me, that means Russ is out there taking in games and looking at players, probably within parameters he's been asked to look for, collecting reports from other scouts, and reporting back to Keith with the top candidate...

Re: Wrexham loan midfielder confirmed
Reading Wrexham fans comments on X, from their club announcing this, and it seems like SuperDaleWatkins friend isn't the only one. Every one of them seems to think this lad is a level above League 2, would be playing regularly for them if they were still in League 1, and quite a few are perplexed at...

So, we won't see Faal, assume we aren't paying for him but we will give him some games if and when he's fit in April. Might come in handy. No harm done.
That explains why we have 6 loans then, if one isn't expected to play!

Re: Latest
On Ashfield’s debut on 1st January he replaced a right sided forward, so he could be in contention as Archer’s replacement. It does seem a bit odd though that we now have four forwards in the squad when we’ve only played with one. What option has there been? For the most part, SC has only had one s...

JP now saying he's expecting Bakare and Sohna to depart imminently. Still no mention of Bennett anywhere.

More than good enough for Championship football, but he's been loaned to a team 18th in League 2? I'll believe that when I, hopefully, see it.

I get what you're saying, but leaving it til the end of the window gives the impression that we can only take the last minute rejects that no one else wants, rather than signing legitimate targets.. Not necessarily. Everything in January is usually a knock on, other clubs not happy to let players l...

Re: Accrington Stanley v Cheltenham Town
The thing that pisses me off most, and this is a recurring thing, not just this season, is the number of times one opposition player manages to keep the ball through two, three, four challenges from our players. You never see a Cheltenham player riding more than one tackle. As for goals from outside...

How have we conceded from that distance again ffs. We give the ball away again and again and the oppo stick one in the top corner from 25+ yards
