Your pre match routine
What is your pre match routine for home games? Pubs, cafes, restaurants? I have made a effort to go the nest bar but it's very limited seating. Parklands is ok but they serve in plastic glasses and I'm sure they charge you more than the locals. I thought the Kemble was 'ok' but it was the Derby game...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Charlton Athletic
Disappointing. But you can't criticise the players effort and hard work. They run all game long but it's the quality we are lacking. Which is understandable because of our budget and resources. You have to give credit to Taylor and Lloyd, they have to feed off scraps and are often isolated. IF we go...

Re: Charlton.
With upcoming fixtures away to Oxford, Barnsley and home to Peterborough, I would say we really need to win Tuesday. Otherwise we could get cut adrift by the end of the month, if results don't go our way.

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
Reasons to be cheerful: - Southwood is a Championship keeper on sabbatical with us. Savour him while we can - Thomas has something about him. Only a 30 minute cameo but it has been ages since we had a winger who likes to drop a shoulder and have a go Reasons to not be cheerful: - The crushing weigh...

No matter what happens this season, the inquest into what has gone right and what has gone badly is going to be interesting...
It all started in pre season and we have been playing catch up ever since.

Agree with the huff and puff comment.

Re: Done deal
Gutted for clarke But financially that is a great success for the club. Making 380 grand profit on a player in a year Stoke will get at least 25% of that. I think letting him go is bonkers. He won everything in the air, improved greatly and probably in the top three Cheltenham players of the season...

I noticed Thompson tone down his run and was concerned. All doom and gloom on the pompey forum! I did find this post on a Barnsley forum which I thought was a good reflection of the game. " Mainly to check on the quality of Portsmouth and expecting them to win, I went along to Whaddon Road tod...

Apart from ferry and keena it's a different starting 11 to the Derby game. At least that gives the manager a good assesment of all the players.

Re: All seats sold
There were loads of Derby fans in hospitality and main stand.
It didn't bother me because we played well and got a point but I wouldn't have been happy if they were thrashing us and they were all singing and chanting and gloating.
But all good money for the club

Also we have to look at the bigger picture. At the moment it looks like we are going the relegated. Long season ahead and that might change but still it doesn't look good. IF we get relegated we need stability in league 2. Artell has experience on that league and knows how to do well In it. I just l...

When we have the ball there is no options. All the players are static, no movement. Hence why we are passing the ball back alot.

Great news
This transfer window has shocked me a little.
Firstly the lack of serious interest in Alfie and now the signing of southwood. I thought our fans were dillusional to think he would sign for us because he would sign for a bigger club.
Happy to be wrong
