Re: Former players

no sign of Goodwin in play offs Hasn’t played since 16 March. Still very early to judge, but he’s basically had 4 weeks of his EFL career where he’s a) been fit and b) scored goals. As it stands, we did a cracking deal there. Well done the Board and football management. Hopefully if Oxford go up we...

Although Abo is apparently lazy according to Grimsby despite the 9 goals in 32 games

......That's a lot of recruitment to be done, especially as of that 13, at least 2 will probably hardly get a kick (King and Harris). At least most of those contracted are first team and more than capable for L2 (I hope). Just 2 WBs and 1 GK and we'll be well on our way. Think we will need another ...

Re: Rumour season opens

It's worrying simply because we need action to have started already if we are going to move forward and have a positive season. Remember when we were relegated to the conference within a couple of weeks we signed on several top end experienced players like Storer, Downes, Pell. Those deals didn't j...

Re: Contracts latest

Despite the recent negativity we have a solid core of experience and potential seemingly signed on for next season. If we can add a creative midfielder, a couple of forwards, with a good keeper and Clarke stays we could have a positive season. Definitely, hopefully Bradbury and Williams can be exte...

Was pleasantly surprised with Pardington in the most high pressure game of the season. Kicking was good, made a couple of decent saves, nearly saved the penalty. Thought their second was an own goal although need to see it again so not a lot he could do Should he be considered for no.1 next season o...

Isn't Barraclough only contracted until he end of the season? I'd like to see the majority of players, budget depending, still here next season with some of the biggest earners e.g Southwood and Davies replaced by a young loans. I think a first team of the following would be competitive in L2: Loan ...

He showed against Carlisle he's not quite ready to start. He's better coming on against tiring legs than fresh ones.
