Re: Game Last Night
Yes the away end offers better acoustics, but last night proved that it's not just about the acoustics in the home ends. It is about our supporters opening their mouths and getting behind the site, did the acoustics improve in the second half or were more home fans singing? Quite simple isn't it. O...

Re: Pre-season friendlies
Usually the first fixture is an away one at Cleeve or Evesham, this year it would be great to have it at home and get the supporters back together to show our appreciation.

I hope the first pre season fixture is home and turned into a bit of a party / presentation to congratulate the club on a special season.

Re: Socially distanced walk?
Hope to see a fair few fans around WR on Tuesday, if we get a point or more. I'll definitely be there!! I would imagine a few will turn out tomorrow night, good luck to them. I don't think anyone can deny our supporters that given the season. Having seen large scale demonstrations and celebrations ...

Re: Socially distanced walk?
I was thinking about this earlier today - could the Club pre-empt the inevitable and regulate it itself by erecting a large screen and putting rows of tables and chairs around and offering tickets to the fans? I am not sure what the current rules are on this, and doubtless it would be a logistical ...

Re: Socially distanced walk?
I'm sure there will be some knocking around on Tuesday should we beat Colchester.
It's a shame there isn't a pub with an outdoor area that could stream the game for ctfc fans to enjoy whist socially distanced on tables.

Lloyd has played his way back into the team, i'd probably expect May to partner him on Saturday with Wright also returning to the 11.

We also must remember that the scientists will look at all potential worst case scenarios, it is not their responsibility to consider the economy the well being and mental health of the nation, this is a PM's consideration. If the vaccination program continues as it is with the deaths and infection ...

Re: Grimsby Town v Cheltenham Town
A sluggish 20 minutes cost us, but seriously do our strikers not like scoring goals. Boyle on another day could have had 3. Sam Smith has gone off the boil, maybe Williams to start next week? Lloyd completely fluffed his lines and will Hussey ever score?
Frustrating afternoon.

MD very level headed but clearly frustrated. An opportunity missed to steal a march on the chasing pack. We just do not have that ruthless edge.
I bet Morecambe can't believe their luck after today's results.

We had Steve Jones and Carl Muggleton too that season in 2001/02, they were seasoned FL pros as well and none of them played very much. Bigger and more experienced squad back then, just look at the these names, wouldn't mind a few of this lot now! Keepers Booky, Higgs & Muggleton Defenders Duff...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Salford City
I thought we were very good, the game plan of sacrificing possession to be compact worked a treat. We looked threatening and we were always poised to attack when the ball was intercepted. That was a disciplined and determined performance and in the end quite comfortable.

This must be seen as positive news, providing the profile fits it's always great to add some diversity to the board.
He sounds as though he is willing to help out financially as and when needed, IF we were able to get promoted the additional cash could be key to offering league 1 wages.

0-0 will do, Cambridge and Forest Green meet on Saturday and Tranmere are home to Exeter.
If we can beat Salford on Saturday then the pendulum would swing back in our favour.

Re: Still in our hands.
Josh had a howler tonight, Tozer's air kick and the missed header for the throw in obviously contributed but he looked all other the place with dropped shots and a couple dodgy kicks. He will have a very good career but he is clearly still developing and I wonder how well he communicates with the ba...

How frustrating was that last night, my poor wife barley got a sentence out of me. Last night felt like a fantastic opportunity to steal a march on the chasing pack, with that in mind i almost expected us to completely blow it and lose, and so we did. We cannot keep conceding goals like that, Barrow...

Re: Tuesday team
I think it will be as yesterday but Willow in for Lloyd Alfie to remain non the bench? Its a tricky one, Alfie is so important to the team and is heavily involved in lots of positive forward play, but we do have Salford, Morecambe and Tranmere up next. Personally i'd start with Williams and May to ...
