Re: Former CTFC chairman backs the Robins Trust
Is this PB backing out of the club? Funny, I've wondered that a couple of times when I noticed Baker's Mobile Home Insurance (or whatever the company name was) no longer has an advertising board on the PRE. Maybe it's just moved and I haven't spotted the new one. Maybe that doesn't mean anything. M...

Re the shop closure due to staff sickness: Maybe a little unfair... If the club employs two people and 100% of them call in sick, what would you have them do? Pull in staff from another shop in another town to cover the shortfall, like other shops do? Obviously can't do that. Employ more than two pe...

Re: Teams around us - Thread to season end
I like to think your average 'super computer' has more important things to be doing than randomly generating numbers and calling them 'match results'... In fairness, I did once, for a while, run my home accounts off an Oracle Apps system (CE, AR and AP, for anyone who knows!) on a very expensive ser...

Re: England Shirt - Coloured Cross
There was a FB post over the weekend from an ex-squaddie who posted pictures of his Union Flag fatigue patches that were in shades of green, saying he happily wore those for six years and people objecting to the football shirts need to get a life.

How about modifying the 'first score time' to be 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-HT, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, 76-85 and 86-FT ?

Good job Posh had three, then. Otherwise we'd have to play with a reserve team keeper.

I remember the incident, clear as day - and Schmeichel's reaction, in particular. Horrific. IIRC, the match resumed after groundstaff mopped up the blood from the penalty area...not sure that would happen, nowadays!

Re: The rest of the season
Lots of criticism for Nuttall - but Taylor was probably an even bigger risk: a player who couldn't get into the starting XI of the team at the foot of the EFL. To say nothing of the length of his contract.
Some punts work, some don't - that's why they're punts, in the first place.

Re: Information for fans travelling to Oxford on Saturday
Hmm... Looking at the estate, I find it hard to believe anywhere will be showing the egg-chasing so I might have talked myself out of going. Not sure I want to sit and watch it on my phone in the car-park. It'll be full of despair, I'm sure - and I mean both the footy and the rugby - with the added ...

Re: NO MORE PENNY PINCHING IN L2 NEXT SEASON
Going down the cheap route hiring Wade Elliot as a replacement for Michael Duff. Harsh, considering he took us to our second ever highest finish in the EFL with more wins than under Duff. He might have been unable to stop the rot at the start of this season, but it's impossible to say that, overall...

Just by chance i have found the answer to our scoring problems. Ellis Chapman slotted in 2 goals this evening in the first half!! Get him back! Mata, who several on here suggested we should buy so Keena didn't feel loanly, also found his scoring boots that he'd forgotten to pack when he went to Shr...
