I did PM asl to double-check, but had it verified elsewhere. It goes without saying that I lived on his history site at times just studying the results over the years. That referee is a disgrace to the game. Managers need to call out performances as poor as his. Glad ours did so tonight.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Notts County

You might not like the current handball law, but by its definition that was a clear handball. This referee is a disgrace. No it isn’t. It has to be either deliberate (it wasn’t) or the arm should have been in an unnatural position (e.g. extended above the shoulder or away from the body (it wasn’t)....

Re: Cheltenham Town v Notts County

Why exactly was that a Notts free kick leading to that 2nd goal? Nonsense refereeing so far, although they do deserve the lead Benjamin Speedie, who booked seven Cheltenham players when we played Chesterfield earlier this season. That game should have ended his league career. The game 2 years ago w...

I am annoyed that the draw is on TNT.It should be on a free to all chanell. It is always good fun to see the live draw. I think it is on 5Live radio so I will listen to that. It's also on TNT's YouTube channel. Not ideal, i know, but free to watch. Personally, i'd go back to radio only coverage of ...

Not my memory, given it was over 90 years ago, but I would have loved to been at the Cheltenham Athletic Ground for the third round tie with Blackpool in January 1934. Aside from Pele starting for Spurs, and a player with hyphenated first and last names, this game will go down in Cheltenham history: The highest ever squad number the club has issued: Number 51. Previous record, George Lloyd who broke into the first team wearing 50.

All good fun to speculate, but really, at this stage of the season, you have to concentrate on your own results. Let's get those 12 wins and 12 draws and depending on how many games are left, we can start checking results from other games.

Staying up will depend on winning home games against the bottom third in the division, and we have seven home games against teams currently in the bottom third to come (i've also thrown Barrow in that number). Pick up a few draws or nick a win or two against teams in in the top two-thirds of the tab...

Short answer, yes. And think that was one of the concerns of the Trust based on their public comments about potential owners, that if you don't want to sell your shares they just get diluted. However, It seems Mike Garlick is happy to let the Trust retain their significant interest.

I agree, parts are shabby, grubby, and have been left to degrade. In the grand scheme of things, it shouldn't take much to spruce the place up a bit. We're not talking about huge developments. I also noticed the "I went for" switch after the "we've made some changes" comments.

With someone who's been around like he has, you're going to have to listen for the subtleties and what he didn't say, over what he did.
