Re: Darrell Clarke after Oxford United defeat

I think he will stay as he doesn't seem the type to jump ship when the going gets tough. I do think a few people on here and social media are unaware how tough next season could be. Only have to look at FGR to see losing can become a habit. Like L1 L2 is now littered with a lot of clubs splashing c...

We needed to win 5 or 6 after the Port Vale game when we still had 15 matches to go. Five games since have yielded two points and three defeats to late goals.
As DC just said on the radio too many weak minds on the pitch.

Good to see ex-Robin Wes Burns doing well at Ipswich and could well be Premiership bound.
If so how many players have been part of a squad that was relegated out of the EFL, and then part of a squad that reached the zenith?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Charlton Athletic

It would be a dereliction of duty if we're not looking to see if we can sign a short term deal for a striker. Surely we can tempt someone with 2 months wages plus a League 1 status brucie bonus. Is there a cut off point for signing out of contract players? I did think it was the end of February but...

He's more optimistic than me (thank God) … and 99% of the fans I spoke to on the way out tonight. Most of the lads are giving everything, just lack that bit of guile and quality. And conceding late goals two Tuesday’s running. The three wins on the bounce from a couple of weeks ago seem a distant m...

We’ve just announced a £0.5 million loss.
Expect a big drop in the playing budget next season.
We’ll have Taylor, Keena, Street and Lloyd here next plus one cheapo and that will be it.

From my angle it looked like Keena backed out of the challenge on the halfway line and 10 seconds later Charlton got their second goal.
The bloke offers very little and with Taylor probably out now…….well.

Nuttall waste of time signing. We needed to sign forwards in the window who were going to be starters and could make a difference.

Is it a case of ‘go for broke’ winning is the only out come for any chance to play L1 soccer in 24/25. What reaction will Alfie May receive pre-game and when he scores. Our games in hand are incredibly important, the players must be reminded of this and that we are in a very difficult relegation ba...

A total of two shots on target in our last three games must be a big concern. How many did we have yesterday, I could only think of two both for Taylor one which seemed a certain goal but defender blocked it and the other the free header which the keeper caught easily. BBC says no efforts on target...

Yes and the Alfie transfer too. Bearing in mind we are talking about 2022/23 for the big loss.
Think we can all expect a better financial result for 2023/24 with the two transfer fees incoming, presumably offset a bit by paying off Wade?

I think it’s wrong that smaller, well run clubs like us, who want and need to grow their facilities are not given more assistance by the FA or EFL, or even our own town council.
