Re: Summer Transfer Speculation Thread

Looks like fgr may be looking to offload a striker or two. I wonder if yates lined someone up after discussion with them, which in turn freed up fgr to sign mangan? Makes sense.

Is the guy from Monaco a youngster or a proven player? There is not many on that pompey list who stand out and considering they will be getting five figure crowds these are hardly huge names. Monaco B http://www.footballdatabase.eu/football.joueurs.romain.padovani.80770.en.html" onclick="...

Re: Summer Transfer Speculation Thread

We can't afford any of their players. Their budget is much bigger than ours. Mark see my previous answer on this. FGR receive £600k less than us as they do not get the FA money, they have crowds a third the size of ours on lower admission prices. This is comparable with us having a bigger wage budg...

Don't underestimate the draw of League football.

If a player would rather play at non-league for a few quid more then we don't want 'em.

Hopefully Norwood or whoever it actually is are ambitious to play League football.

Ryan Bowman is out of contract, I think. 19 goals for Hereford last season but hasn't proved himself at Football League level. Worth a chance? Not bad but we need higher quality strikers. Re: Summer Transfer Speculation Thread

Yes I agree but you have to accept the fact that footballers, like all ambitious people, want to excel at as high a level as possible. Well, of course. If the money is better, the level is better, and the manager really sells a club to a player you can't blame them. I guess the only time loyalty or...

This we should definitely be in for the likes of Zola and cherry picking players from smaller clubs.

Won't be many cherries to pick from non-league.
