Trust Raffle. Forest Green

The winning number was 00154. The prize has not been claimed, so please check your tickets - especially if you bought off JC in the Kemble. We need more ticket sellers - we could only cover the car park this week. Please get in contact if you think you can help. This would be on a regular basis, but...

Re: Nevada Phillips

Yes, he told me he had played for Reading as well.

When I tried to google the name, I got a Minor Counties Cricketer, playing for Berkshire.
I am guessing they are one and the same.

Nevada Phillips

I met Nevada Phillips at a lower division game in Barbados yesterday I must say he did not look as if he was over 60. Anyway, anyone on here old enough to remember him playing for Cheltenham? 1974-5, I am told. I would imagine, as a Barbadian, he would have been unusual in the Southern League at the...

Re: Two Teams in Bradford

It should be pointed out that with 14 years between the original going bust and the new club forming, the only connection between the two Park Avenue clubs is the name. Indeed, even that is different as the original was Bradford FC, but known as Bradford (Park Avenue) to avoid confusion with other t...

No, I said it was offside - the point was that the "ball moved forward" discussion was a red herring. When the ball was touched, then a player in an offside position will be deemed offside if he is the next person to touch the ball This is regardless of whether or not the ball is moved whe...

That is a tremendous effort by Steve and everyone at the club should appreciate the effort he has put in

As a matter of interest, how many other car park season ticket holders are on here?

Given the choice between a higher charge, including all cup games
or a lower charge, but paying extra in the cups - which do you prefer?

I am going to pass this one to the FED for comment. Assuming the car park pass is £100 compared to £5 per match, it is not much of a discount anyway. Its benefit is, as I have found out on occasion since I don't have one, that it guarantees a space When I had a car park season, it included cup match...

Both have teams in the U18 FL Youth Alliance, South West.
Both have three wins and four defeats to date
FGR are higher in the table as they have four draws, to Cheltenham's three.
One of the draws was Cheltenham's home game against FGR

13th October is the annually designated "Non-League Day".
So look out for a good non-League game.

Its more annoying for me, as it means the only home games I will see before Christmas are the silly cup on November 13th, and possibly cup action the previous Saturday

If the system is fundamentally stable, then a butterfly cannot create a storm. There would be too much damping. O...

Generally one does not notice. The first card (which was changed later causing a suspension) was a case of mistaken identity Hence the yellow card on 55 was the first yellow shown to this player in this game - and as we have seen before, many referees are quick to give a first yellow, slow for a sec...
