Re: Robins Report Podcast

Great insight, DC is very savvy when it comes to the (modern) connections with the fans, getting onboard with an independent fans podcast is fantastic access to a manager. He's still not happy with the Seasons is he. One would think that on occasions Whaddon Road could be used for training , partic...

Re: Robins Report Podcast

Thanks guys.
An informative episode.
I don't tend to listen unless there is a special guest on and it's good to have a manager who is pretty open and revealing.

I remember McDonald having lots of pace something we don't really have so I'd welcome that. I pass Geoff Hurst most mornings on my early morning walk around Pittville Park. I remember him scoring a lot of goals. I wonder if I had a word ............... Just offer him a 2 and a half year contract, t...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers

I don't put the blame on him necessarily though. We went hoof ball rather than through the lines like beforehand. As a linkup he was brilliant - then we started bypassing him and expecting him to run onto through balls that the defenders were shepherding out with ease. Expecting him to race onto a ...

Amari Morgan Smith helps Kiddie come from 2 down at home to win 3-2 to keep Phil Brown's amazing winning streak going. Shaun Jeffers and Dan Bowry help St Albans to embarrass Torquay 4 nil at home. [/b]quote=CTFCfan99 post_id=354246 time=1706980827 user_id=5288] Am I the only one who thought Keena was one of the best of a (admittedly very) bad bunch first half ? Re: Cheltenham Town v Wycombe Wanderers

Again, Lloyd getting free kicks that he deserves is rarer than us scoring goals. When he was substituted the Wycombe commentators said that at least he managed to run off the pitch without falling over! They did know Nuttall well from earlier in his career and said how good he was but has obviously...

Re: Name the team and tactics v the chair boys

85 is pretty close with his selection I reckon. He could play Ben Wiliams along Curtis if Shepherd isn't really up to speed given he only joined yesterday. Could Harrop play up front at times as he seems pretty lively, but obviously not too much physicality. Nutters could well start to give us that....

I held my tongue/fingers last night but it reaks of poor transfer strategy and last minute panic signings. Taylor could be a good signing, especially if it was a bench option for the remainder of the season. He can score goals at this level and is a finisher something we don't have with Keena so of...
