Anyone remember the previous League One home game v MK Dons in 2008/09 ?
Lost 3-5, Damian Spencer came on as a sub, scored a hat trick and then got sent off.
It was never dull under Martin Allen!

I remember Allen manhandling the Dons player who also scored the hat-trick to get the match ball for Spence :D

How could anyone forget if they were there. Crazy game. Almost as crazy as the 4-5 against Bradford and the 3-6 against Peterborough. There were quite a few very high scoring, 7+ goal games that we were involved in between 2008-2012. Unfortunately, I think we lost most of them, apart from the 6-5 at Burton which springs to mind.

Just had a quick look and that 3-5 v MK was close to the beginning of a 16 games winless run stretching from 13th December to 14th March, which also included that 3-6 to Peterborough and finally ended with a 4-0 defeat to Leicester.

When was the 4-3 against Northampton with the Forsyth retaken pen and Disco’s injury time winner?

Off the top of my head, a Friday night in 2003 with Mr T Kettle in charge.

Of course, I then had to look...
