What was the atmosphere like? Did the home fans make themselves heard?
Particularly interested in those sat level with half way in either of the two stands as that is usually a place where away fans are more audible.

At the start it was good, felt like a cauldron of noise before kick off and for the first 10 minutes. As Oxford got on top it went a bit quiet in three sides and a fair bit of noise from the Hazelwoods, but nothing too great. As we got on top in the second half it got pretty decent, all behind the goal seemed to be getting into it and there was some sporadic joining in in the Colin Farmer, and at one point in the last 15 the Paddock and maybe main stand were giving it a good old go, some of the loudest I’ve heard from over there in quite a some time when a strong tackle was put in to put the ball into touch in front of them (possibly from Freestone).

It was good in pockets but generally disappointing given the size of the crowd. Oxford were particularly quiet for such a large following.
