“One change for Cheltenham Town at Bolton Wanderers: Grant Horton comes in for his full Football League debut, replacing the injured Lewis Freestone”
“Looks like Grant Horton will play on the right of the back three, with skipper Sean Long switching over to the left, where he played regularly during the final third of last season. Mattie Pollock remains in the middle”
“Cheltenham Town subs (v Bolton Wanderers away): Evans, Williams, Wright, Barkers, Norton, Armitage”

Yes, almost a case of having to go 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 or something due to not having enough defenders to make the five.

Apologies, my mistake.
JP reporting we are playing a back four. Horton on the right.
Joseph right wing, Alfie left. DC just behind Vassell.
And Alfie opens things up. Injuries, ghastly weather, big empty stadium. One of those games where a team galvanises and performs heroics, or collapses. Let’s hold and see this out like Cambridge last season. Don’t do a Mansfield.

It's not quite that simple a formation. There is some fluidity. Often, Vassel is on the right and Crowley the most advanced when we don't have possession. Joseph isn't as far forward as May on the other wing and is helping out in defence more. Now Bolton have changed things so it might change again.
Ffs. Not the first time Chapman has lost the ball receiving the ball facing our goal and we concede. And what the rest of the defending was about...
There we go, 20 mins of dominance and missed chances, only takes the opposition a few minutes of getting on top and they're level.

Before that equaliser we were eight points off the automatics with a game in hand!

Full time then, 2-2.
Lose ground on the play offs unfortunately, and lose a place to Burton. Could be down to 12th should Ipswich win tomorrow.
Sounds like the game could have gone either way in the end.
But, unbeaten in November. In the League that is two away draws and one away win. One home win.
Not bad and certainly good enough for survival, but another four points and what might have been.
