started to watch that TV program about those ageing fat ex footballers but gave up when it showed Ruddock having been told his life was at risk from obesity etc etc tucking into junk food and necking beer......... whet a clown

I guess some people rate quality of life over quantity - and for them quality is being able to do what they want, especially after having to be more disciplined as a professional athlete. Not my idea of quality of life, but for some it would be.

Didn't see the programme,is it a series. What's it called? Did it have Larry Lloyd or Nigel Callaghan on?

You probably know by now but Ruddock had to go home before the end of the first of the three parts as he wasn't feeling well and ended up having a pacemaker fitted. Utter twat.
